BEWARE!

Who cares. Hope they use everything they got to win a preseason game it will mean so much to them in the regular season.

Word x4.

I don't give a crap about the final score.  No injuries, some fun viewing with some scores by the O and plays by the D and I will be more than happy.

If there is a score to settle, let it be done in the post-season.

Richard Sherman is a talented corner, but boy do I enjoy watching him get punched in the face.

RGIII handled the situation like a responble adult, but if I was his teammates I don't think I'd like the QB  being friendly with a guy who just stirred up **** with one of the O-lineman who protects him.

  • Green Bay returns home to Lambeau Field on Friday night to host the Seattle Seahawks in a matchup of two 11-win teams from 2012 that both advanced to the postseason.  The all-time preseason series is tied at 2-2.
  • Friday night’s game will be televised to a national audience on CBS, with play-by-play man Ian Eagle and color analyst Phil Simms handling the call from the broadcast booth and Tracy Wolfson reporting from the sidelines.
  • Milwaukee’s WTMJ 620 AM (click for live stream), airing Green Bay games since 1929, heads up the 50-station Packers Radio Network, with Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and two-time Packers Pro Bowler Larry McCarren (color) calling the action. The duo enters its 15th season of broadcasts together across the Packers Radio Network, which covers 42 markets in six states.
  • One of the NFL’s longest team traditions, the Upper Midwest Shrine Game kicks off its 64th installment Friday night.  Each season, the Packers donate a percentage of the gate to the Shriners’ Hospitals for Children. The Shriners’ facilities provide specialized medical services, helping children with birth defects and other injuries, at absolutely no cost.
  • The Packers annually designate the Shrine game as the first ‘Gold package’ game for season-ticket holders primarily from the Milwaukee area. The team created the three-game package after moving all of its home games to Green Bay in 1995. Also in the ‘Gold package’ this season are the contests against Detroit (Oct. 6) and Philadelphia (Nov. 10).
  • Following the contest against Seattle, the team will take a day off (Aug. 24) from the practice field before returning on Sunday, Aug. 25. The Packers will practice on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (Aug. 25-27) leading up to the preseason finale against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, Aug. 29, at Arrowhead Stadium. The team departs for Kansas City on Wednesday.

McCarthy suggested on multiple occasions during the week that the game against the Seahawks won’t be the traditional dress rehearsal for the starters the way previous third preseason games have been.

“We've got to make sure we have enough information on all these players. We don't do lip service to our players – ‘Hey, we're only going to coach the ones we think are going to be here.’"

"As you know, we had 17 players miss the first game, 15 miss the second game, so everybody (wasn't) able to play. The third game is really a challenge for a lot of guys to play in. What happens (when) a guy doesn't play in (Friday’s) game? What's going to happen at the 75,? Is he going to get an opportunity in Week 4? That's what I'm trying to avoid.”

Earlier in the week he commented about how with the new CBA and the limit of full contact practices the games mean more for evaluating the 90 players.

want to play everyone who's healthy tonight, Mike McCarthy says on pregame show. Cut to 75 is at 3 pm CT Tuesday.

want to rotate RBs Eddie Lacy and DuJuan Harris tonight, see if they can find rhythm on offense, Mike McCarthy says on pregame show

Jones and Mulumba are both going through the full warm-up right now. So are rookie WRs Kevin Dorsey and Charles Johnson.

MM was stating in pregame that they are going to play who they need to play and look at...

I have a strong feeling that means more than the general media and national 'insiders' would expect.  Then again, they have been making fools out of themselves for several hours now about tonight's game.

Sweet Christ will CBS San Diego get off this Filner resignation crap already? I get the feeling in 10 minutes they'll still be rambling on about the old perv, meanwhile the NFL.com streaming I paid for will tell me to stuff myself and that I'm blacked out...

WRs Kevin Dorsey & Charles Johnson, both 7th-round picks, on the field for warm-ups and looking to make preseason debut.

Wishful thinking but I'm Interested to see what kind of speed they may be able to display.  They have nothing to lose with how much time they've missed.

Tonight's inactives:

18 WR Randall Cobb
25 CB James Nixon
28 S Sean Richardson
38 CB Tramon Williams
73 T JC Tretter
75 T Bryan Bulaga
78 T Derek Sherrod
85 TE Matthew Mulligan
87 WR Jordy Nelson
99 DE Jerel Worthy

Well they did leave coverage for NFL finally... I was a little worried since they had been on it all day pre-empting their other crap programming.

Also San Diego isn't perfect. I'ts like 76 degrees out right now and I would far prefer 71 or so

But, I grin and bear it, because we are a hardy people.
