Wait, shouldn't you change it to Bortles?

Will see you at the Seattle game.
@PackerPatrick posted:I am still waiting on news about who will be available Sunday. Bahk, Adams, MVS, King, Lowery, Keke (DNP)? We know #12 is out but who else will play those other positions?
I'm guessing Bakh, Adams, and King will likely be out. Again it's an AFC game, I think they probably want to have everyone ready for Seattle in case Love has to play then also.
IMO, I do not know why Bakh or Adams wouldn't play. Per reports, Bakh has been "full" at practice and looks fine. Adams is simply waiting to get out the protocol.
Today obviously will be a big indicator. If both are listed as full participants, I can't see why they wouldn't play. Let's also realize the politics if you will with this. Gutey is going to bring out his shiny new toy in a national game. I would think the Packers would do all they could so his All Pro LT and WR to be on that field to help Love look as good as possible.
King? I never, ever hold my breath.
What's the turf like in KC? That could be one reason to have Bahk sit another week. But if he's ready, let him go.

King probably just for the fact itβs King, heβll probably hurt himself putting on his shoulder pads

Honestly with King I kind of forget about him since he is out so often. I will believe it when I actually see him on the field.
Just not optimistic with Love until we see it done on Sunday. Remember feeling this way going into Rodgers first start on MNF vs MN. Had absolutely no idea what to expect and remember being pleasantly surprised. Hopefully weβll see the same thing again. That game back in 2008 was at home though. Who the hell knows.

Thatβs my point.

I still think even with a healthy(ish) King back he's still going to be behind Stokes and Douglas. Not to mention Alexander when he returns.

I was enthusiastic about Rodgers as a starting QB because of the Dallas game the year before. Favre got hurt and Rodgers came in and I expected a TJ Rubley like meltdown (prime-time, playing a good Cowboys team on the road, crowd going wild) and then Rodgers looked better than Favre had earlier in the game.
I didn't expect him to be a future HOFer but I was fairly certain he was going to be at least on the upper end of competent.
The preseason showed me that Love is likely above the Hundley/Kizer threshold, but other than that it's a complete crapshoot as to what his ceiling is

Opposed to Soldier Field, which is natural ass.
So Kim Kardashian is not allowed in Kansas City?

In my usual restrained manner I declared after the Dallas game that Rodgers was going to be better than Favre. Crazy, right?
Not ready to make that declaration with Love. After all, Rodgers is the best regular season QB Iβve ever seen. But, love is going to be great. A hall of fame talent. Yβall mofos just wait.

I donβt know about Adams, but I imagine if Bakh plays it will only be a handful of snaps. MLF has talked about wanting to ease him back into things.
AFA Gute trying to make Love look good, I donβt think thatβs how it works. MLF seems to have autonomy over playing time and he doesnβt report to Gute. To be perfectly honest I think MLF probably has more juice in the organization right now than Gute. Gute is playing ball with Rodgers and MLF has played both sides perfectly and seems to have stayed out of the drama. If Bakh is 100% and mentally ready, he will be full go, but if he is still easing back in then I think they save him for Seattle. Adams will play if heβs out of the protocol definitely.

That was my first thought. Is it quality natural grass or that shit the call grass in that joke of a stadium? I'd give Bahk the all clear to play if he's ready.

Have you seen those pads? 5th graders in Pop Warner had bigger pads!
Wait, I think you're right!

But for Love's own development and mental state it would be good to have everyone available. We don't want his first start to be disastrous and increase his self doubt.
Right now, Nub is playing with house money. No one outside the team (and really that's all that matters) thinks the Packers will win that game.
If they manage a close loss, or even pull out a win, JL will be applauded. If he goes out and stinks up the joint, it can be explained that he started his first game, in a pinch, he won't make X mistakes again, blah blah blah.
I'm sure that won't stop people from freaking out, or conversely ball-washing him if he goes out and looks great.
Take this game with a grain of salt...
All this Love talk is exhausting. Are we not allowed to talk about Rodgers anymore, because my sources tell me the guy was unvaccinated ALL of last year too!!!!
17 back in the facility today according to someone I know who trains with him in the off-season.

17 being out there helps Love a lot. I also wouldn't be surprised if Amari gets more touches then expected. I'm guessing Love has practiced with him as the #2 guy with Rodgers being behind Cobb. There may be some chemistry there where Love is comfortable with #8 on the field.
I hope it's a chemistry thing because Amari Rodgers hasn't exactly looked good.
@bdplant posted:Heβd better be betterβ¦.heβs a first round pick.
Which pretty much means nothing.
JaMarcus Russell, JP Losman, & Rich Campbell (amongst many) say 'Hello'.
Per MLF "Kevin King looks pretty good". Said they will see how he progresses up through Sunday. Sounds like he'll practice today.

I would say he hasnβt βlookedβ.
that supersedes, good, bad, or indifferent.
#Packers DL Jack Heflin back, WR Davante Adams goes through stretch and DL Kingsley Keke goes through stretch also.

There should be significant advantage in the fact there really is no tape on Love and how he operates in this offense with the 1's. If they can get enough successful reps during the week, there is no reason why they couldn't do the same Sunday.
@ilcuqui posted:@WesHod: Davante Adams and Joe Barry are back, according to LaFleur. LaFleur says there's a protocol Adams will work through this week. If Adams clears it, then he'll play. #Packers are hopeful.
I'd like to know what the protocol is.
Love throws a few balls to Adams. He catches them.
Davante, you feel OK?
Yep.
OK, you are cleared.
