Watched the DTs run the 40. Some of these guys, like Fiske, are fast! I was really impressed by T'Vondre Sweat. 366 pounds of momentum at the 40. They needed a cable from an aircraft carrier to slow him down.

Saw on the ticker that Cooper Dejean is recovering from a broken fibula and should be ready to show his stuff, in April.
I thought @Iowacheese had started a Combine thread? š¤·āāļø
LineBacker- 40's
Edgerrin Cooper just ran a 4.52 - 1st Attempt

šš¼ They posted the graphic below šš¼
Then Dallas Turner ran a 4.47

Combine stuff? I'll suggest chocolate and peanut butter.
We need a picture of McCarthy getting a massage for when games melt down during the season.
Heās too busy standing in the food lines for that
His agility scores will be interesting.
Heard reports that Max Melton, CB Rutgers and brother of Bo, had a GREAT day today, at the Combine.

S Tyler Nubin looked good in drills. S Cole Bishop looked really fast until he hobbled off the field with what looked like a hammy. Hope it is just a cramp.
Xavier Worthy, WR Texas, ran a 4.21 40 today! Fastest ever!
ESPN hosts were impressed by QB Michael Penix, Jr. today. WR Rome Odunze got a ton of praise, as well.. Both are from Washington. Daniel Jeremiah said Odunze is his 3rd best athlete in the draft.

I have to think this is an example of a young guy who got nervous giving an interview and botched his pre-rehearsed speech. The actual intended quote had to be something along the lines of, "l don't believe in space. Play me near the line of scrimmage and let me tackle the running back on my way to the quarterback."
GB notes from the combine from Matthew Berry (a fantasy dude)
"...what you saw in the playoffs is exactly what the Packers want to do this upcoming year. As it was explained to me by a good source, Jayden Reed is the most talented guy of the group, but they want different receivers stepping up every single week.
If there is one GB WR you want for fantasy, itās likely Reed, but there will be a lot of frustrating weeks too with Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks all mixing in, not to mention the tight ends. And donāt forget Bo Melton. Tough to find Bo playing time right now, but heās really good and they like him a lot.
"Expect the team to move on from A.J. Dillon this off-season. Theyāll keep Aaron Jones and likely draft a RB early on Day 3, but Emmanuel Wilson will get a shot at a real role behind Jones. They like him."
Contrast Matt Berry's sources with PFT....
To the folks who try to dismiss our reports by saying we have no sources or whatever, you realize we had like 50 guests on our show last week from Indy, right? You realize pretty much everyone in the league reads PFT, right? You realize I've been doing this 23 years, right???

I don't understand why so many teams have such a hard time identifying and drafting top notch starting QB's

I donāt think they necessarily have hard time identifying and drafting them, I think in many cases they show no patience and by rushing them ruin them. Not all mind you but plenty. JMHO
Lots of reasons, tons of reasons, oodles of reasons why. But this spoiled rotten fan base are fans of an NFL unicorn of a QB-developing team. We all just need to accept that and everything else will make sense.
But those reasons start with, ownership, GM, HC and QB coach.

Agree somewhat, but the way I see it Wolf knew what Favre had. Thompson and Gutekunst, while not wrong in talent evaluation, benefitted moreso than Wolf (obvioulsy) from having HOF talent before needing to replace it.
I was happy to read that Gutekunst is getting back to Wolf's em oh of drafting QBs often. Thompson didn't follow that as closely.
GB wasn't a QB evaluating unicorn in the 70s & 80s.
Now, if GB appoints a CEO that dislikes silos, that would be awesome. Back To The Future.
"decedents"
To be fair, both words are referring to people not currently with us.
