We need to Rock The Rockies!!!!  Great to see Ortiz back.  2 new Brewers in the line up too. 

Rock the Rockies, wish I would have thought of that for a thread title. But at the time crushing rocks had my attention. If folks prefer I can try to change the thread title to Ammo's suggestion.

This Chourio guy could end up being pretty good.

5th inning homer by Contreras puts the Brewers up 4 - 3.

But Wilson gives it right back and then some . 5 - 4 Rockies  now.

Garrett Mitchell has a chance in the top of the 10th but the dream return didn’t happen.

Payamps. Just DFA this clown.

Take Milner with him.  He’s given up runs in 4 straight appearances and 6 of his last 8.  I don’t have much confidence when he enters.

Tuesday nights line up (7:40 CT), Keuchel starts on the mound, but likely only pitches an inning or so, Mitchell gets first start in Center, Ortiz out tonight:

Mitchell back in the starting line in center. Ortiz back on the bench. Hope he didn't aggravate his neck injury.   And hopefully Keuchel will pitch better than his 1st outing.

I think I said all that about 12 minutes before you did Ammo. But at least your line ups are more colorful, while mine show the batting averages.

Wasted opportunity by the Crew

Keuchel with a solid start, but the Brewers offense is MIA.

Please tell me we’re not going to lose the first two games against a Rockies team that was 28-55 coming into our series.

Why do we so often play down to the level of teams we should be spanking? Why??????

What a 9th inning! Bases loaded for the Crew and Hoskins gets hit by a pitch. 4-3 Brewers! Megill in, gets a Rockie to pop out to Perkins. After a base hit, he settles down to strike out 2 more, to end it.

Nice comeback win!  Only ball out of the infield in the 9th was the sac fly by Adames.  

Playing in Colorado has been bad luck for the Crew recently, glad we got that monkey off our back tonight. Now spank them tomorrow.

Wish Ortiz was playing but Monasterio has been improving steadily. He is a adequate fill in.  Good to see Mitchell back in the line up too. Thought maybe he waould a day off if he feeling stiff or something.

Rockies starter is 2-11 with a 5.84 ERA.  Time for the Crew to tee off tonight.

So Turang singles leading off the game, gets caught stealing 2nd and naturally Yelich homers. 1- 0 Rockies coming to bat.

Crew leads 2-0 after Bauers singles in Frelick, top of 2nd

Brewers add another. Frelick walk, to 2nd on wild pitch and a single by Bauers.  2 - 0 Brewers, Rockies batting in the 2nd.

And another.  Turang and Contreras single, Yelich and Mitchell walk and Hoskins leaves the bases loaded. 3 - 0 Crew. Rockies batting in the 5th.

Ortiz to 10 day IL, Paredes to 15 day IL. Vinny  Capra and Jason Junk recalled from Nashville.

I know some think he's a bum but Rea has been masterful tonight.

I'll take a bum any day with an 8 - 2 record.

Tobias Myers on the mound for the Crew tonight, game starts at 7:10 CT, ( I'll be visiting relatives for the rest of today and won't have PC access) :

Crew down 3-2, top of 5th and top of the order coming up, Can they get something going here to tie or take the lead?  Rockies pitcher at 99 pitches, throwing lots of balls.

Ummm no, Crew blows an opportunity to score at least 1, Oh well onto the bottom of the 5th we go.

Crew ties it 3-3 on Chourio double in 6th, still batting 2 outs. Had a chance for more but blew it leaving guys on 1st and 3rd.

Myers gives up a HR in 6th, Rockies up 4-3, 1 out.Inning now over, Crew up in the 7th and fizzles out

Zastrynzy now in for Myers, bottom of 7th

Payamps now on the mound for the Crew, down 4-3, not encouraging.
