Garrett Mitchell has turns into one giant disappointment. When he’s not hurt, which is most of the time, he’s a non-factor with a bat in his hands. Great defensively, but we need more than that. First and third with two outs, and he strikes out. Again. That’s 56 career strikeouts in 136 career at bats. If he had any power, that would at least be bearable. But he doesn’t.

Down 3-4 in the top of the ninth. I can’t believe we’re going to split a four game series with the dregs of baseball. This was a golden opportunity to increase our lead in the central before the break. Now we have the Dodgers.

Two outs left. Come on, Contreras. Crush one!

Familiar territory as of late:

"The Brewers went just 2 for 10 with runners in scoring position and left nine on base despite getting to the struggling Rockies bullpen after only five innings from starter Cal Quantrill."

If that is all you are going to do is whine when a player doesn't do his best just stay away.  You know a batter is only going to succeed about 3 times out of 10.  Celebrate the 3  and leave the 7 alone.  The journey is the reward!!!  Just enjoy it.
