With the comedy of errors that is the Cubs, anything less than a sweep would be a little disappointing....
Yeah, I bet the World Champ Frisco fans never thought they'd lose 3 in a row to the lowly Crew either.

Is Hendo for real though? Ax's velocity is down, and if that's going to continue, Hendo's brining it 96 out there. If they're both pitching well, you can live with either I guess.
Well, they are crawling out of the hole they dug themselves but I don't think this team is totally in sync yet. Thankfully the baserunning gaffes didn't come back to bite them.

A guy could add Gamel, the Axford meltdown and Fiers being sent down already to the list as well. If they are at .500 or better when Hart returns, I really like their chances (of course hoping they avoid more injuries).
Hard to believe that they will be 500 with a win today. As bad as the pitching has looked and missing 2 of your top sluggers, it's impressive or lucky.

There's a lot to like about the Brewers up the middle... Segura, Weeks, Go-Go, Luc... You can go far with that kind of ability up the middle.

Starling Castro is way way overrated. I'd take Segura everyday of the week. Melvin made a great trade to get Jean.

Peralta has decent stuff but I wonder if the focus and concentration is always there. He had Rizzo at 2 strikes and didn't go with his money pitch and it got knocked out of the park. It nearly happened again two batters after that. Fortunately only down 2-0

I'll say this, RR commitment to Axford drives me crazy, but it looks like it is starting to pay off. Fingers and toes crossed.
I'm only a CASUAL, but here's why MLB managers are typically completely and utterly insane, especially in the case of Roenicke.
You don't trust Axford with the closers role, you don't trust to throw him in at the start of the ninth inning, but you do trust him to come into the game with runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs in the 7th inning.
