I really felt bad for him. Didn't look like he was happy that he was inactive for his last home game. I'm sure he understood but I'm sure pride was *&#$in' wit him.
Does anybody know if they had something on the scoreboard saying thanks or something like that? I suppose maybe they aren't 100% sure he is retiring.

It is still possible that we could host the NFC championship game so maybe he would suit up then for one last hurrah and farewell.
It was sad to see but he's been in the league long enough to know that it is a business. He probably wasn't happy, but we all know how Donald is. He won't be petty about it or hold some kind of animosity towards MM or the team. This will be his lasting image
How sweet that was. It was even better to see him with that ring on his finger with his big smile during the ring ceremony. Super Bowl champion for life.
Maybe if he had just realized that age had caught up with him and that he was being phased out last season he would have retired gracefully after the season and wouldnt feel so dejected this season,every player has to know when their time is up,like the male lion of the pride who gets replaced by the younger, stronger challenger.
Love DD and all he's given to the team through the years, but when you're the seventh best receiver and don't contribute on special teams you're likely going to be inactive and sentimentality can't enter into the decision.
Driver will have a Honor Day at Lambeau before TOG will.
I don't feel bad for DD at all. He's had a remarkable career after coming from humble beginnings. DD is/has always been about hard work, positive attitudes and putting the team first. If anyone understands why he's not suited up, it's him. I bet he has no issues whatsoever. I'm just happy his sister stays off Twitter.

Terrible. DD isn't close to Ray Lewis, and that's a good thing
DD got an extra year with the Pack. That was his bonus. He is 5th wide out today. I'd bet he understands!
Ray isn't playing if there are 5 better ILB's on the bench.

Caught a little Milwaukee sports radio this morning and this was a topic of discussion. I was really surprised at the number of people who really seemed to believe the Packers did DD wrong by having him inactive. They were probably many of the same people who wanted TT fired.
DD will go down as one of the most beloved Packers of all time. No scandels, class act, 7th round pick from little Alcorn State, never bolted for bigger money in his prime, etc. He will have his day in Lambeau and may even end up a receivers coach if he's interested. BTW...I LOVED that 1st down shimmy... 
Thanks DD! I hope you get one more chance to hoist the Lombardi trophy in a couple of weeks. I will always wear my #80 jersey on gamedays for good luck.
Considering what his game check looks like for standing around on the sideline, there really is no reason for him to look sad.

Exactly. I think DD is as classy as they come, but he got 2.3 million dollars this year essentially as a thank you for all he's done for the organization. No way he should take playing time away from Jennings, Nelson, Jones, or Cobb (and perhaps even Jeremy Ross).
TT and MM made an exception in keeping him this year as it was clear in hindsight that Cobb should have gotten more snaps last year. Hopefully he works in the Packer organization or somewhere in an AD type job in Wisconsni.

I was at the game..There was zero scoreboard stuff.

It's not sad. It's the natural progression of a professional athlete. You can't play this game forever. DD knows he's been blessed to play this game for so long and Packer fans have been equally blessed to have him on the team. A win-win. But when it's time to go, it's time to go. IMO, DD stuck around a year too long. I think he's handling it very well actually.
