After losses to SF and NYG - this is a must win in terms of the psyche and mojo for the Pack. Chicago has all sorts of things going against them right now (lost 4 of last 5, Cutler, Bush and Urlacher injuries, etc.) - whereas the Pack has some good momentum going (injured guys coming back, running game coming along, Crosby shaking his slump, etc.).

Not a must-win in terms of the North is eventually won (& potential #2 seed), but a must-win in terms of keeping the momentum for the playoffs going. Bears will give it their best shot.
One of the most meaningful games in this matchup since the NFCCG

If the Packers win the division is theirs and they are still in the running for a week 1 bye. If the Bears win they at least stay in the division and playoff chase.

I fully expect the Bears will play one of their best games of the season and it's always been a challenge playing in Chicago late in the year. The good news is that if the Packers continue to have auccess running the ball I really like their chances in this one.

Is this a game that could be moved to Sunday night?

I don't think so now. FOX would absolutely use their veto on games that can be moved and NBC has to notify league at least 2 weeks in advance except for final week. Besides that this weeks Sunday night game is San Fran @ New England. No way will NBC give that up.

No teams are scheduled for the final Sunday. I predict it will be Dallas @ Washington.
Rodgers on his Tuesday radio show...

He'd like to go ice fishing sometime with Cliffy, Tausch, and Kuhn in the shanty with him.

Fan question about why the slant is not part of the offense this year?
AR (paraphrased): not a good play versus the 2-deep/cover-2 we are getting

I was not wearing a thong.... Had 3 layers on... (laughs at things like that).

I always predict a Bears win, but this one is going to be tough. Like the Packers, the Bears have a lot of injuries.

On defense, we're missing Brian Urlacher and Tim Jennings. Jennings leads the NFL in interceptions. We could use his ball-hawking skills against the great Rodgers. Our safety position has been consistent, which is amazing to say after all these years of Lovie, but they are good, not great.

On the dline, Peppers may have seven sacks, but he has been battling plantar fasciitis all season and is not creating the same level of havoc. DE Shea Mc is doing a good job providing some energy, but is far too weak to spell Idonije or Peppers on any down other than 3rd and long. DT Henry Melton has six sacks and creates numerous opportunities for others.

On offense, the oline is still the same **** show as ever. Multiple injuries to an already terrible oline have only made things worse. Forte is playing okay, but there is nothing between the tackles on run plays.

Brandon Marshall has been as advertised plus some. He's passionate and is very physical. Outside of Marshall, Bears don't have much. Hester is garbage and dropped a touchdown pass against the Queens last week. Earl Bennet is constantly injured. Alshon Jeffrey has a lot of potential, but he has missed over seven games with two different injuries. His return from the most recent one this past week resulted in one TD catch, one dropped TD pass from about 50 yards out and one slip on a route that caused an INT.

Same ole Bears on offense, minus a decent QB and great WR, but the defense is rapidly declining.

HBCU NFL Draft Prospect: Jordan Miller, DT, Southern University
After watching film on Southern University's DT Jordan Miller this past season; the first thing that stood out to me was his explosive first step and quickness off the ball. He stays low out of his stance and gets good leverage at the point of attack; he's also very active with his hands and displays good strength while holding his gap. Miller showed a lot of his quickness and strength against the offensive lineman during the HBCU Bowl week last month and was unblockable at times; especially in one-on-one drills. He put up very good workout numbers at the GA Dome HBCU Bowl Combine held on Monday during the week with 30 reps on the bench and running a 5.1 in the 40 (considering he just finished a full football season). Miller has a unique football story, he didn't play football until his senior year in high school and only played in a few games. He decided to walk-on at Southern University and was still learning the nuances of the game his first two seasons. Everything started coming together for him in his Junior year at Southern with leading the team with five and a half sacks and eleven tackles for loss. Miller had an even more productive Senior year with nine sacks and fifteen tackles for loss, but it was over shadowed by his team losing record and two other DT prospects in the SWAC conference in Arkansas Pine-Bluff Ibraham Abdulah and Alabama A&M's Frank Kearse getting most of the publicity. But Miller deserves to be mentioned with them in his own right and scouts have taken notice.
