Matt LaFleur. He has brought innovation and modernization to the offense and maybe most importantly a realization that making your QB's job easier is a good thing. When you have a "game manager", it makes him look good. When you have Aaron Rodgers you get the best offense in the history of the franchise.

Aaron Rodgers. He's been nearly perfect for 4 games. He's been in total command, he's made the right decisions, he's playing within the system. It's been amazing to watch.

RBs - This might be the best RB duo in the NFL. Aaron Jones was held out multiple drives, and it didn't matter.

Tonyan - Again, I'll say that MLF designing an offense to help create space is a huge help, but the dude looks like a sneaky always open absolute pain the ass for defenses.

OL - Maybe not their best game of the year, but man they compete and they do the job.

BYE - was getting silly out there, rest up, get healthy and let's keep this going

Timpranillo. If MM was still the head coach, the lack of WR upgrades would render the offense impotent. Timpranillo tonight, FINALLY, realized that an Offensive Playcaller like MLF does enough with schemes/formations/motion to create space for any WR, TE, or RB. Still should have drafted Patrick Queen, but whatever.

Nice to see Tonyan come into his own.

Jamaal Williams work on his game and transforming his body is paying off. He’s a nice change of pace after Aaron Jones. Nice route running and good hands tonight

O-line is playing really well so far. Left side is studly with Bahk and Jenkins....and the right side is shockingly good considering all of the uncertainty. Stenovich and Butkus are doing some excellent coaching.

Rodgers is clicking. Elite !!

MLF is making a name for himself. Very impressive start to his reign.

Thought the Atlanta offense was supposed to be good ? Jaire and DB’s shut down Calvin Ridley. Zero catches

Paws

  • First and foremost, MLF is awesome.
  • 16 points allowed.
  • Run defense.  Don’t know what different was this week, but I love it.
  • Big BAD Bobby T.   Coming out party.
  • Bye week to heal up.

Get That Fixed

  • Injuries keep piling on.
  • I was super high on Jackson, he’s just not good.

I don’t feel like we are really talented on offense, yet I feel like we can’t be stopped.

+++++++++

Amos getting his hand on the ball in the end zone on4th down, saved a TD which would've made it a one score game

First half, 3rd and long for Packers just into Falcons territory; Falcons blitz up the middle and Luca Patrick get enough of a block on the blitzer which allow AR to complete the pass for a 1st down; Packers end up getting a TD on drive.

Tyler Lancaster made some nice tackles in the middle of the line for a "try hard" guy

Z'Darius is only pass rusher

--------------

Defense does not tackle well

Preston is invisible again

Play calling coming out of halftime was atrocious; 4 runs for -2 yard

Last AR pass on 3rd and short - why??? Why not run to keep clock running up by two TDs???

I watched Preston Smith a lot - The OL he was going against, practically every play he was having to deal with illegal hands to the face - no call.....ever. He was coming thru the line though -- I expect he is working his way back into game shape. I'm expecting some flash plays from Preston after the bye.

---- Allowing a 20 play drive from the 1 yard line?

+++ Only allowing a FG on said 20 play drive. That was actually funny.

---- MVS not understanding how to make a back shoulder catch

+++ MVS picking up 3 first critical downs

+++ Jamal Williams -- really nice relief for Jones - 8 catches 95 yards

+  At this point, the only better playcaller/qb combo in the league might be Andy and Mahomes. Saints, Rams, Seattle might be in that conversation, but what they got going in GB is pretty masterful right now. Long ago I learned to really appreciate AR's allergy to ints, in particular because the previous guy holds the record for most picks ever. In 2011, they were a juggernaut because they had great personnel. This is different. I'm really curious as to how MLF schemed those few games in 2019 without Adams, and how that compares to the past 4 games. The RB/TE scheming has become lethal. How long did it take Holmgren/Favre to be humming like this? It surely was not in the second year. When this offense creates their own rhythm, it's a thing of beauty to watch. What the offense lacks in blue chip tallant, the scheme is making up for in spades.

+Seeing Julio go out reinjuring his hamstring has me thinking the Packers were smart to rest Davante.

-Tackling.  That Gurley TD had several lame attempts to tackle.

-Not being able to punch it in from the 1 yard line.  At least the 2nd time we’ve seen that this season.

-Josh Jackson.  I’m ready to give up on this guy.

+Just about everything else!  4-0, baby!   I hate having the bye this early, but we certainly have some guys who are dinged up.  I’m hoping Deguara and Dillon can be used more as the season progresses.

I get what you’re saying, but not really a fair comparison.  AR is a seasoned vet, former MVP and incredibly smart/savvy, can read a defense at the line as good as anyone.

Holmy inherited an inexperienced gunslinger that he first had to reel in before being in synch.

The Packers QB room has been blessed for nearly 30 years.

In case you forgot....Both the Packers & Seahawks are in the same conference. Somethings gotta give this year.....

That's a fair point. But I'd also factor in the notion- mostly media driven- that a seasoned, arrogant, all about himself shit of a teammate wasn't expected to coexist with MLF, let alone flourish. I think a stubborn vet qb could be equally difficult to fit a new system as a young guy without experience, if not for wholly different reasons.

+ This team is well coached MLF is doing a fantastic job.  A good win in a game they had to get before the bye

AR is having fun and my god is he freaking good.  Even with having to throw to RBs a lot and being far down the depth chart at WR he was still money.

I thought overall they contained the run better than they have been. Gurley is still a pretty good back

4-0 in the division and 4-0 in the NFC.  Its early but that is very important

- Injuries.  It seemed like a Packer was hurt every 5 minutes in the second half

Eye-popping NextGen Stat: What’s the definition of wide open? Try this: Jones had 12.9 yards of separation on his 6-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter. That’s the second-most separation on a Packers touchdown catch over the past four seasons.

Ummm.......Wow.

How wide open was Tonyan on his summersault route?

The OL really has been the key to the entire thing. Rodgers has time, they’re running the ball effectively, and they’re making teams pay for committing too much to stop one thing. MLF’s counter moves have teams just dancing from one foot to the other.

And the best part is the OL is deep. Atlanta busted through a few more times last night than the previous weeks, but Rodgers is still adept at getting away and minimizing contact.

Tonyan’s emergence just gives MLF another tool in the box. The TE position is in great shape, and will be a nice counter they haven’t had in a while.

Defense really needs to learn how to tackle. Some embarrassing efforts out there the last 2 weeks. Injuries really stacking up. Would like to see the secondary start making plays- they’ve been close, but bumbling away a pick is a potential game changing play. Tonight- they had one right there... blew it, turns into a catch, Atlanta scores on the drive. Against a playoff caliber team that could be a back breaking momentum play.
