On another note, 9 minutes of stoppage in Croatia v Italy?!?! The ref must have had money on Italy. Gotta feel for Modric. Plays the game the right way, drags his team to the brink of the knockout round, and a 9-minute ref decision screws his team over. Unbelievable.
I do, however, like the idea that FIFA has lengthened the stoppage time to keep teams from wasting time (nine minutes was excessive in that game, though). One more rule change, please: no substitutions in stoppage time unless you are the losing team; teams that are tied are also prohibited from making substitutions in stoppage time.
City going to have trouble refreshing the talent on the club without Pep committing to another season beyond 24-25...People are tying Kimmich to City for 40M euros...don't see it happening for Pep being one more year only. Same for any quality player with options.
