I posted this during the game, but the odds of Oubre Jr and Tobias Harris going like 17-20 from the field (basically all jump shots) is slim to none.

The odds of Dame hitting 17/17 from the FT line are much greater given he’s shooting around 90% from there.

It’s why he’s so dangerous and valuable late in games.  If you foul him he’s basically automatic from the line and if you don’t defend him close he’ll drop bombs on you.

Put Brooke on Porzingis in the playoffs.

Maybe Griffin will try changing some things up in the playoffs if things aren't working. Like not having Jrue Holiday get abused for several games in a row by Jimmy Butler after Giannis completely shut him down the last time you played Miami in a series (and Giannis is available for games 4 and 5).

I think Butler just destroying Jrue in that series was one of the biggest factors in being comfortable in moving Jrue. If Jrue's defense is no longer an asset in that matchup (or against Tatum), his offensive liabilities become too much to overcome.

They may not win a title, but this team is going to be much more fun to watch on offense.

I can't wait for a full game from Kha$h, Giannis and Dame..... Vs Miami.

I'm also interested in seeing Jrue vs Dame.

Win by 1 or win by 100....still counts as one win.

This is before the game last night....A team

It's still Giannis' team. But he will sublet to Dame in the 4th quarter, particularly the last 5 minutes.

You already see the difference between Dame and Holiday just in terms of their quickness, decisiveness, and overall playmaking ability.

Holiday played a more physical, plodding style which tended to bog down the offense in the half court and allowed the opposition to get set on defense and settle in.  Dame is always moving and the defense can never get comfortable.

We all know how dangerous a shooter he is (and how inconsistent Holiday was) but toward the end of games it’ll be great for Milwaukee to have multiple options to close out games.

The fact that he could navigate in and out of the lane despite an elite interior defender (Embiid) being present shows just what a talent he is.  Very few teams have an Embiid that can frustrate Giannis along with a Tucker defending the perimeter so I expect Lillard to be even more dominant against weaker defensive teams.
