This game literally couldn't have started any worse. Giannis stuffed at the rim by Horford a couple of times. Kyrie Irving on fire. Giannis is 0-3 from the floor with one point.
Bucks are 4-17 from the floor and are lucky to only be down 21-13.

Definitely tight... Giannis a non factor
Down 26-17 at the end of 1. It could have been much, much worse.
5-19 from the floor. 4 bad turnovers (guys literally stripped of the ball 1x1). Giannis with no FGs.
The offensive movement for the Bucks is terrible. Standing around on perimeter and a bunch of ISO. Meanwhile Boston is moving and screening. Bud better get this adjusted.
Giannis continuing to struggle at the line in the playoffs also. Other than Game 4 of Round 1 he's 15-27.
I guess you can push Giannis out of bounds with two hands.

They are going to have to figure out how to play against zone
Hayward is killing them. He and Irving are 8-10
The Bucks look like an 8 seed right now.
Not only can you push Giannis but you can set a bunch of moving screens
Hayward isnβt killing anyone. Kyrie is a complete enigma but come playoff time he is nails
This is really, really bad. The Celtics are only shooting 27% from 3 and they are still up 40-25. If the Celtics were shooting 50% from 3 and up by this you'd think that it was just a hot start, but that's not the case.
Make a shot guys... 25% from the floor!
Agreed- no movement on offense, poor shooting despite good looks, and turnovers.
They just need to settle down and play
Boston hitting a lot of shots with guys in their face
Middleton!!!
Boston grabbing a lot on D
Middleton makes Brown pay on that one

The Bucks defense is designed to run guys off the 3 point line and make them hit the floaters in the lane (or pull ups from 12-16 feet). Hayward has made them pay for that.
Bucks back in it with Giannis on the bench.
They are -12 in his 14 minutes and +12 in the 8 minutes he's been off the court.
15-0 all with Giannis on the bench.
What a terrible call on Lopez FU refs
Boston fouling Giannis all over the place

Same thing the Pistons did. They are banking on the fact that they can't call a foul on every play.
Boston is clearly aggravating and frustrating Giannis by getting physical with him. Keep staying aggressive. Baynes is a ****ing hack and keep drawing fouls on Horford.
Kyrie has to start missing some of these shots at some point. Not like the Bucks arenβt guarding him.
Two guys that Horst got after training camp went 7-10 from the floor and 4-4 from 3 for 18 points. Think Hill and Mirotic are an upgrade over Dellavadova and Thon Maker?
Hill could start at PG for some teams. Heβs been a really nice addition.
Great to see Mirotic come alive and hit some shots.
If Giannis played an average game theyβd be up by 10+
Oh, didn't see this thread!
C'mon, Giannis, step up your game!
He is subpar in every category - 8 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist.

Giannis isn't necessarily playing poorly. They are basically going "Jordan Rules" on him. Punish him every time he goes into the paint. Refs will let guys be a lot more physical in the post-season. Giannis has to adjust.
Giannis , Lopez, and Bledsoe having off games....thankfully Playoff Middleton, George Hill, and Mirotic are carrying us.
Played shitty 1st half and right in it. //here we come !!
Giannis does have to shoot FTs better. He's now 4-8. Been a problem all postseason.
Giannis hitting 3 pointers will take care of any defense.
They are definitely in Giannis' head right now. He's had two wide open dunks and a 3. He's missed one other 3.
Other than that he is 0-8 from inside 5 feet if it isn't a dunk.
Giannis is basically playing like complete crap.
Sloppy last few possessions for the Bucks
Boston playing tough D and initiating a lot of contact. Bucks need to fight through it.
Bucks starters other than Middleton are 5-23 from the floor (Despite being 3-7 from 3). 2-16 from inside the arc. The Bucks have dominated in that area all year.
WTF was that offensive set. Have Middleton sit still for 10 seconds and force a fall away? Followed by a Sterling Brown floater.
Danger time. Down 10.
Bucks just canβt hit shots and Boston is itβs that simple

He is getting slapped, hacked, and pushed every drive. If this is a regular season game, he's probably shooting 25 FTs. He has to adjust to playoff physicality.
The call Horford just got could be called on every Giannis drive. Every single one.
