Game Threads are allowed!!

Clearly the Fedya filter is working

It sure was alot different when Scoop had this place. If it doesn't chanage soon, I'm outta hear

Can't chat with iPad, so I'm screwed. Just sayin'. Maybe make it html5 compatible in a future version?

Fedya, did you turn off a pop-up blocker and try?

I couldn't get in with Firefox, turned off my popup blocker, and was able to get in.

Tools>options>content>unclick the block popup box

FWIW, on my laptop, I still have to disable my antivirus (avast) to get into the chat room.

Were you never able to get in or solve the problem?

That was going to be my suggestion to disable AV until you can get in..

But that always didnt work.

Other browsers worked for a bit, then a blend of AV software. Then eventually it didnt work.

Fresh HD and reinstall of everything got it working in IE again. But, I can see the point, it just isn't always perfect.

Now.

It is Boris' site, he can call what he wants. I will not argue. Until my reinstall I had been a poster in the game threads since I could not get into the chat room, now I suffer or exhault during the game in the chat room when I dont already have something else going on.

I have no right for an opinion on this, it is not my site. I can't argue with the sentiment. I will be in chat when I can and welcome back other input when deemed available.

As long as I don't give a crap about that Seattle game at the end of the regular season.

Turned off AVG, or at least as far as I can tell it's turned off!

Set up Windows firewall to allow Java and Flash as exceptions (not that I'd ever had problems with them elsewhere).

Rebooted, and I still can't get in.

Somehow, I have a feeling there's something set up on the wireless network (Netgear WNA 3100) causing the problem, but I'd have no idea why it might cause a problem with connecting to the chatroom and (seemingly) nothing else.

Very few people have a problem with the chat room. I don't know what to tell you but it's definitely on your end

I am using a I Pad and I can't get into the chat room either. Don't know if it is because Mac does not support flash. I am a computer idiot anyways.

Correct. iPAD doesn't support flash. Use a PC or a droid OS.

Yeah, we're all pissed about Monday night, but it's not like Goodell and the 31 OTHER owners are going to hold emergency sessions because x4 isn't running game threads. Seems like the only thing that did was penalize board members.

Randy, there's others that know better than I do, but I recall Scoop dropping in on rare occasion after his 'retirement'. I haven't seen him here over the last few (3 or so?) years, however.
