Is it a bunch of 0-0 ties we are told we should enjoy, or is there actually some action?

Hell, how many shots on goal in two games does the US team have? FFS. All they do is run around midfield for most of the game in that sport.

And in what other sport does the team not know how much time remains as only the referee does because of 'extra time.' WTF?

I lived in Boston in 1994 when the World Cup was in the US. I was a graduate student surrounded by European colleagues who went on and on about how great soccer was and I should just give it a chance.

The Final was 0-0 and decided on penalty kicks. I was done with it at that point. Decide the world title by essentially having a FT contest?

That’s why soccer doesn’t fly here.  0-0 ties and people get excited about that?  Eh, it’s not for me.  zzzzzzzzx
