Grind Up the Phillies Thread

Line up for Monday's game, no real surprises:

Crew leads 2-0 after 3, with small ball.

Now 3-0 after a sac fly from Ortiz, still batting, 1 out, guy on 3rd

Back to back base hits by Phillie. Civale done for the night. Milner in. Harper at the plate.

Dodgers eating up the Braves. 6-0 top of the 7th. Runners on 1st and 2nd. 2 out. Cubs up 9-2 over the A's, in the top of the 6th.

Milner gets out of the jam. 2 Phillies LOB.

Dodgers up 9-0, now. Bottom of the 7th.

Ortiz with an RBI triple! Frelick scores on the play! 4-1 Brewers.

Turang singles, Ortiz scores! 5-1 Brewers! Chourio up.

Chourio strikes out. To the 7th, we go.

Murphy pulls Milner. Colin Rea coming in.

Realmuto with an RBI for Phillie. 5-2 Brewers.

Thank freaking God.

Let’s get that run back.

Perkins singles to start the Brewers 7th.

Perkins steals 2nd. No outs.

Adames up. 9 pitches into his at bat. Flies out to Bohm.

Perkins and Contreras both steal. Perkins at 3rd and Contreras moves to 2nd.

Sanchez hits a sac fly deep. Perkins scores. 6-2 Brewers.

Great job manufacturing a run, putting two guys into scoring position with a double steal, and Sanchez’ sac fly. Back to a 4 run lead, 6-2!

2 outs. Contreras on 2nd. Hoskins grounds out to 3rd. 8th inning coming up.

I feel much better with Harper leading off, coming up with nobody on base.

Rea pitching to Bohm. 0-2 count. 0-3 tonight for Bohm.

Chicago beats the A's, 9-2. LA beats Atlanta, 9-0.

Big double play ball, to the bottom of the eighth. Three more outs to go!

Taking the first game against the Phillies would be huge.

How many more chances will Willy get the rest of the season with 2 guys on base?  He fouled off several pitches he should have hit for a mile.  Pressing too hard to get that 3 run homer record.

Rea still pitching. Strikes out the first batter. Realmuto grounds out. 2 down. Marsh up. Doubles down the 3rd base line.  Clemons up. Hits it to RF, Frelick ends it. Brewers magic number is 2!!!

Game over! Crew wins 6 - 2. Very nice job by Rea in relief.    2!!

GREAT job by the Brewers pitching staff shutting down the best team in baseball!

Just a huge win. 3-1 thus far in this very difficult ten game stretch.
