His numbers are down from last season so his value has already dropped. The Brewers may as well ride out the season with Burnes since the division is weak and they'll probably be within striking distance until the end.

He's had a few good outings, but I think the arbitration process really bothered him and it's affecting his performance. If someone overwhelms you with an offer for MAJOR LEAGUE ready talent that could help their offense this year, you consider it. His strikeout to walk ratio is way down and, while I haven't looked at the specific stats, if he falls behind in counts it makes his cutter a little less effective as it allows guys to lay off of it more.

The arby process should have nothing to do with it. He's supposed to be a pro, just go do your damn job and the rest will take care of itself.   Non of this oh boo hoo, they treated me unfairly  in the arby process.  Get over yourself Burnes.

This.^^

If he’s not happy with how the Brewers approached arby, and wants out of town, one would think it would motivate him to pitch better. To make himself more attractive to possible suitors.

If your girlfriend’s bestie is trying to get you to stray, she puts on a slutty dress and fuck me pumps, not baggy sweats and granny panties.

Burnes is being well paid, and until further notice, he’s a member of the Milwaukee Brewers, a team trying to compete for a playoff spot, if not the division title outright. I don’t give a damn if he feels slighted. Suck it up, buttercup. A rumor went around before the season that the Brewers brass placed some of the blame for their not making the playoffs on how Corbin pitched down the stretch. GMs talk, and Burnsey would be well served to show that he’s not one to wilt in pressure situations. The Cy Young showed what he is capable of, but baseball is a β€œwhat have you done for me lately?” sport.

It’s time for Corbin to ditch the granny panties, and put on the G string.
