I'm really happy the Packers won, but yeah, it's really nice to think that Rodgers won't have to hear that refrain from the morons that don't have the brain power to look at TOG playoff record as of late...

Hats off to Rodgers for the win. Shuts up all the knee jerks. If Favre ever had a defense this good he would have won two more SB's.
Including today's that's now 2 lost fumbles on the year for Rodgers.

You're completely right on with the analysis that "he's fumbling a lot this season a la Favre. He really needs to protect the ball better."

Well, in make believe land and studies about the 1998 SFG you might be completely right.

In reality, notsomuch.

Unfortunately, those same people will simply shift their focus to Rodgers not having a Super Bowl win yet. But at least he's gotten to the next level of disrespect!

Or you could say he's fumbled the ball 6 times in the last 6 games he's played....which actually supports that he's fumbling a lot. At least it does in my book. A fumble, even if it's not lost, is still a mistake. And that's 6 mistakes in the past 6 games he's played. The Packers have been fortunate he's only lost two.

Confused

He fumbled 4 times this year.
He fumbled 10 times in both 2009, and 2008. So if anything, he's fumbling less.

Just had to interject some facts into the discussion. Wink

It's unfair but that's just the way it goes I guess. The media has a short fuse and a long memory. A SB win shuts people up for a long time ala Eli. Football isn't fair when it comes to celebrating the best and often times it's who's left at the end of the year instead of who's best.

Rodgers has fumbled the ball 6 times in the last 6 games he's played, including today's game. I guess that's why I thought he was fumbling a lot this year. They seem to have come in bunches after not fumbling in the first 10 games.

But you're right, he's actually fumbled less this year than the past two. By the way, I'm not a hater on AR. Love the guy and think the best in his career is yet to come!!
Why do we have to try so hard to give this guy a pat on the back? I highly doubt he needs it and I think every Packer fan is uber-happy to have him. There has been some substance to the comments that he doesn't win the close ones. He also hadn't won a playoff game until today. I think it's a rip on him that some feel the need to make excuses for him. He's a grown man, a very good QB in his third year as a starter and got that first playoff win of many under his belt.

He has not fumbled 6 times in the last 6 games. He fumbled 4 times in the regular season, and lost 1. At most, if you want to include the post season, he's fumbled a total of 5 times, losing 2.

Fumbled twice against Atlanta, lost one (trying to sneak in for a TD at the goal line). Fumbled once against Chicago and the Giants each. Then once in the game today, which he lost.

I'm not at all concerned. 35 touchdowns, 13 turnovers. That's a great ratio.

The gimp sex wasn't rough enough tonight?

GOOD GOD MAN! Why do fans root for their teams. Don't they know we're "uber happy" they won?

Hey shrivels, guilty conscience?

One of our sets of eyes aren't working. NFL.com shows Rodgers fumbled twice today, losing one.....at least that's what this set of eyes is seeing. Didn't he fumble in the first half, too.

At any rate, 5 or 6 in the past 6 games is at least a little alarming, lost or not. Fumbles not lost still tend to disrupt drives.
Maybe you need a trophy for every accomplishment and a constant pat on the back but he doesn't. He is accountable for his actions and play and has stood up when he has been at fault. I'm confused by many who feel the need to set off fireworks for every accomplishment he achieves with the insinuation that he isn't appreciated.

Very good TEAM win today! Offense, defense, coaching and special teams.

If Favre had played more like Aaron Rodgers he would have won 3 or more Super Bowls.

Yes 2 today. 1 on a sack and one on a handoff when he hit Johnson on the hip. That fumble is on Rodgers.
Not to answer for ammo, but I believe he meant that statistically the NFL will credit the fumble to Rodgers. Obviously a busted play where QJ ran into AR....but the fumble gets credited to AR.

Or dip****s who are so desperate for any type of attention, ANY type of acknowledgment, they'll say absolutely anything to get noticed.

Imagine needing an anonymous internet message board for validation, and how sad life must be for that to be a reality.
Why all the concern over not having a playoff win prior to tonight?

He had one playoff game prior to tonight and had he had any kind of defense in that gane he would have had at least two games.

The fools who have talked about him not having a playoff win are ignorant. While the stats for games 15 and 16 will fall under regular season, GB was in essence in the playoffs at the time, had the lost either of those games, they would have been sitting at home today.

Ok, I didn't look at the #'s for today's game. Hard to blame that second fumble on ARod. The FB ran into him. I'd have dropped the ball, too (great NFL caliber QB I am Wink

I'm still not concerned.
