I don't know what the dark web said because I couldn't find the light switch.  It sucked the power out of my flash light battery and I was afraid to use a match in case the place blew up.  I  didn't want to be a flash in the pan of life.

With a 17 game schedule 10 wins is very possible. I see a lot of winnable games, including Detroit which I doubt is as good as people think. A team has it's first winning season in a couple decades and people seem to think they'll reach new heights. I have to see it to believe it. Even the Saints are minus Kamura when we play them.

Just a little action to start the season 😉🙂

I look at this way.....if they get close and miss playoffs, the odds will be way less for next season.

Probably never get odds this good on them again if Love is even the 20th best QB.

I don't think they will win many close games this year.    In limited time, Love has shown the propensity to turn the ball over in pressure situations and in the RZ.

On Defense, teams know they can run at will against us and will do so.    Without the threat of Rodgers on the other sideline, no need to get impatient so just matriculate against Barry's soft scheme all day long.

7 wins.

Love with a pick on a drive near the end of the half, high importance situation, and a pick to end the game.    We are going to see that just as much, if not more, as we are him looking like he did at the end of the Saints game.

Packers near the bottom of the league in rushing D.    No surprise there.   When the run D does hold up, you get a soft zone on 3rd and 3.

We are 2-3 against a super soft schedule.    We should beat the Broncos, but good god it is going to suck getting curb stomped by the Vikings.

Current records of the remaining teams on the Packers' schedule:

0-5 - 1 game

1-4 - 5 games

2-3 - 1 game

2-2 - 1 game

3-1 - 1 game

3-2 - 1 game

4-1 - 2 games

Potential for plenty of wins on that schedule.

I predicted 8 wins above, but I would guess the range is from 5 to 11.

If Bakhtiari and Jenkins are healthy and play up to what they were 3 years ago, everything on offense will look much better and I'd go with 10-11 wins. If one is dinged up and limited, I'll go with 7-8 wins. If they are both struggling to stay on the field, it could get ugly. When healthy, they would give the Packers the best left side of the OL in the league.

This was my post pre-season. Unfortunately, Bakh got hurt and when Jenkins was also out the OL looked as bad as any Packer line I've ever seen.

Something has to happen at LT. Maybe Walker emerges through his early struggles and becomes consistently competent? Some places scouted him as much better than a 7th round pick, but even the positive projections weren't necessarily saying he was going to be a LT.

As bad is this team has played they are just a few points away from being 4-1, losing games by 1 point and 3 points. We can complain about the Packers but look around, there are not a lot of good teams in the NFL right now.

That’s what young teams do. After the disappointment of the Raiders’ game I am adjusting my attitude towards this team. That offense is so young they are still learning how to play football. It will be fun to watch them improve over time.

That's true for a lot of teams. It usually comes down to one guy (often the QB) making a key play or two. The Packers blew out the Bears and were blown out by the Lions.

There were basically three toss-up games. Love made a lot of key plays in comeback against the Saints and was one of the main reasons they won. Love made some terrible decisions/throws against the Raiders and was one of the main reasons they lost.

Bijan Robinson made some key plays in the Falcons comeback and they won (and Joe Barry is our DC which doesn't help). Also, MLF wasted one key series running Dillon into the line 3 times in a row. Love was kind of neutral presence in that game.

If the MVP version of Rodgers is playing, the Packers are probably 3-2. If the QB was below average in every game they are probably 1-4.

I'd like to think we would be 3-2 if Jones played vs. LV. Although Dillon played better, there is a huge drop-off from Jones. Wahle showed a play where Dillon gained around 5-6 yards, but if he bounced it outside (where there was daylight) , which Jones would have done, it likely goes for 20+ yards.

That is very true.  Outside of KC, Philly, SF, Det and maybe Miami  the majority of the NFL is 2-3 and 3-2.  There are still 12 games to go and if a team can get on a run you never know what can happen.

Do I expect it? not right now but you never ever know what can happen.

I think the Packers are 4-1 if Jones had played in every game. The Pack had a 12 point lead in ATL and lost at the buzzer. I'm sure Jones could have kept a few drives alive that would have chewed enough clock to win that one. Beating the Raiders would have been easy with Jones, changes completely how they would have had to defense the Packers.

Even the Bears game, which looks like a blowout score, was a tight game until Jones made two 3rd quarter game changing plays, one about a 35 yard TD reception on a 4th down. Right now he appears to be the only playmaker on the offense.

So if you're the head coach, and you see the O-Line struggling.....wouldn't you have your QB getting the ball out of his hands in 2.2 seconds or less?? To help the O-Line?? Asking for a friend.

This. I think we are where we are due to pathetic coaching in Atlanta and Las Vegas

There's no such thing as a halftime adjustment for the Packers. But my biggest concern is how poorly this team plays in the first half of games. Only against ATL did they play a decent first half and then got smoked in the 2nd half.

I'm sticking to my analysis that Love is too tense at the start of games, and after a couple of losses, he's even more tense. I think he's really feeling a lot of pressure, and he's putting a lot of pressure on himself even though he doesn't show it. He knows it's a good team, and that he's replacing a legend. Even though he's not a rookie, it's still his "extra rookie" year and he wants to show that he's worthy of QB1. Against LV, he was trying to erase a beatdown from Detroit, potentially losing again, and the bright lights of MNF. I thought he was so tight in his movements and wanted to "get things right" that he was extra wound up at the start, and then the INT only added to his tension. He's trying too hard, if you will. He's got to loosen up and just find his focus.

I remember Holmy telling Brent early in his career when he was struggling. Something like " We are going to win together or go down in flames together." Pretty much saying " I got your back." I think MiLF needs to to that with Love if he already hasn't

And we are a freaky win away (against the Saints) from being 1-4. And just lost to a poor Raiders team.

And "WE" are a freaky penalty and a dropped INT away from 4-1.

See? I can play this game too

It's not like they beat the Bears and got blown out four times
