.........to sit on an aluminum bleacher with no backrest?

As if making you shell out $250 for a worthless piece of paper isn't enough, now the packlers organization can bend you over a little farther, and ram it in a little deeper, when they charge every single person for the luxurious option of a seat cushion!!!

Sorry, Hungry. I can only give the packlers credit for '96 and '10. All others have been deemed irrelevant due to the time they were acquired. Did you know that the packlers once refused to play a game in order to ensure that they would be champions? Did you know that? Did you?

Can anybody answer the question posed in this thread?

How much will they now charge EVERY packler fan that doesn't want to plop their fat ass down on an aluminum bench now that bringing in seat cushions will no longer be allowed?

Do you think the price will go up or down?

Odd, the NFL gives them credit for all 13. Oh, and by the way, you misspelled Packers. There is no L in Packers.

And the NCAA give the Gophers credit for 7 National Championships. But it was deemed by the packler faithful here that those are to be discredited because they happened years and years and years ago.....just like many packler titles.

Sorry, I didn't make up the rules.

The NCAA itself does not award a championship for Division I-A/FBS football. In the past these mythical championships were determined by votes from writers, coaches, or some other entity looking to generate $$$.

And in their last mythical title they lost the Rose Bowl game and finished the year 8-2. How can a team be a champion when they lose their last game? Confused

Hmmmm....perhaps you should ask the 1930 packlers? Or the 1931 packlers? Did you know that the packlers once refused to play a game in order to ensure that they would be crowned champions? Did you know that?

No, I would say it's championship rationale vs championship rationale. Decade's old packler championships are relevant in your empty head and Gopher championships aren't. I'm not surprised.
Nothing like spending some of your weekend lamely continuing to troll even after being shipped to the pink outhouse.

The Vajeen fan Packer obsession beat goes on as the hatred of all things Green Bay continues to trump the fandom of their own Vajeens.

It cost you $25 bucks to be made a fool of, you should man up an send Boris another $25 for letting you stick around for your daily abuse.

Bandwith is expensive.

Did they win or lose their last game in 1930 and 1931? You know, "how can you be a champion when you lose the last game of the year?"

Gophers crowned by the ncaa. 7 times. Correct ?

Not correct.

Google is your friend.

"Because the championship team is not determined by a NCAA championship or tournament event, it is sometimes unofficially referred to as a "mythical national championship". Since the NCAA, the sport's governing body, does not determine or declare a national champion in this field, determination of such has often engendered controversy A championship team is independently declared by various individuals and organizations, often referred to as "selectors". These choices are sometimes at odds with each other. While the NCAA has never officially endorsed an annual championship team, it has documented the choices of several selectors in the official NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision Records. In addition, various third party analysts have independently published their own lists of what they have determined to be the most legitimate selections for each season. These are also often at odds with each other as well as individual school's claims on national championships, which, for any particular season, may or may not correlate to the selections published elsewhere."
Steve Martin wants his term back, but I admit it's amusing when you choose to use it.

The first "clownshoes" part is that you still haven't figured out that if you're responding to the post immediately above your own, there is no need to quote that post again. Unless your lips move when you read. Actually, not even then.

The second "clownshoes" part is that you still don't understand that the NCAA didn't award the goofers any of the titles you're referencing.

Enjoy your weekend on the Packer board!

Sooooooooo............how many titles does your link credit the Gophers with?

Yeah, that's what I thought. I'd probably just roll with the smiley heads if I were you too. You already look like a massive dork. But I have the feeling that you're used to that.

Is the answer SEVEN?????
Let's recap:

1. He donates money to a forum of a team he despises where he's loathed & laughed at. (I'm starting to feel bad for the guy\gal, it feels like we're making fun of a mentally challenged person, much like my avatar)

2. He then spends all his days & nights on said forum being mocked and ridiculed. (At least he's getting his money's worth.)

3. He's the living & breathing embodiment of the adage "Life imitating art" -

4. After just a few short weeks he was sent down to the minors of trolling (this sub-forum) because, well let's face it, he's not clever, funny, or smart. (IOW he really sucks at trolling.)

5. He had Hank on "ignore" and then lied about it. That makes him a lying, spineless, pussy. Sadly for jaymo, the aspiring yet really bad troll, those are the only troll-like attributes he excels in.

I'm sure I've missed some things, feel free to add to the list!

Let's recap, Jon

The Gophers have won 7 National titles. They are irrelevant because they were won decades ago and some of them were after they had lost their last game. Irrelevant.

The packlers have 13 championships. The are relevant whether they were won 80 years ago, or if they were won after the packlers had lost their last game of the season, or simply refused to play an opponent in order to win the championship.

Does that about sum it up?

And while you're here, How much do you pay to have a soft place to sit?
