Gotta love the three man rush. It's not always bad to play coverage, depending on the down and distance, but when you have guys like AJ Hawk, Jerrod Bush, and Charlie Peprah covering it is not going to turn out well.
The worst part of that image and defensive call is how deep all 8 guy's dropped. There was no one underneath. Add the time Eli had and CB's deciding to turn guy's over while they peeked at Eli, that's easy pitch and catch for any QB let alone a good one.
I have to assume Dom knew he couldn't get there with blitzing so he opted to play coverage. Didn't work.

Awfully telling comments by Greene... I expect GB to draft an OLB high or pick a guy up in FA. If GB gets somebody opposite CMIII that can play football, this defense will take on a completely different look.
so, Green is telling Ted what to do now. He should know his place. I'm not sure he is a fit for this team or this coach. I'm sure he'll be gone by the start of training camp unless he is retained.
I like what Greene is saying. It's one thing to rip players to the media, but Greene is stating the obvious: this team hasn't found its book-end pass rusher to pair with CMIII. Couldn't be more obvious when you bench your 15 game starter and start Jones in the playoffs. Sucks that all we have are backups at ROLB. I like Sherrod and have no issue that TT drafted him ("protect the franchise"), but Brooks Reed would have looked really good opposite of CMIII.
A good piece by McGinn about the defensive woes and some of the available players when TT went with Sherrod. I didn't have any problem with the pick at the time, but with the benefit of hindsight it's clear he should have probably gone in another direction.
