Why do I feel as if I'm going to hate them more in about three and a half hours?

It was a great win last night and I enjoyed watching the comeback, but even if they make the playoffs unless they start hitting consistently they'll go nowhere.

So do you think their approach to hitting is different then the Brewers or they are just beating the odds with the kind of swings they put on a ball?

I think GoGo jr was in at 3rd base, for a few innings after he PRan for LuCroy and Herrera for Aram in the 9th.
So Gomez falls down fielding a ball, then makes a bad throw to the infield and the runner still just barely scores. Then they get another run 2-0 Cards, bottom of the 8th. Only one more chance. Last I heard Pirates up 9-0 too. 
If Wainwright is getting strikes 3 inches off the plate, it makes it hard to beat him...
One more loss and the Brewers might as well kiss it all good-bye since the other guys are getting wins. 10 games left and no margins for mistakes anymore. But you never know until you know. A big win tomorrow might do a lot to make things work out.
It was a historic season both the first half and then the second half. Unfortunately, one half was good and the other half bad.
That's what is frustrating about this season. Had they not gone into a complete nosedive a few weeks back they would still be in control of their destiny. However, you can't lose 16 of 20 (or whatever it was) and expect to maintain any semblance of a lead.
