Well, thereβs that.

Iβm telling ya, itβs my friend Bob in heaven carrying the damn Queens. A 61 yard field goal with 4 seconds left in regulation, seriously?? I swear to gawd, itβs my friend Bob. π€¬ π€¬ π€¬
The Vikings have had 2 seasons worth of luck and good fortune. I mean, theyβve won against several backup QBs and theyβve been healthy and BS like kicking 61 yard FGs isnβt sustainable.
I mean, we do know their history right? Forget the 4 SB losses, you have the 1998 15-1 team, 41-0 donut, getting destroyed by Philly and Foles, Brent pondering pondering the INT loss to the Aints, the loss to Seattle where dude missed a chip shot FG and hell Nate Poole wasnβt even a playoff game.
Of course it will blow up in their faces come playoff time. Destiny is a bitch when it includes continuously sucking or choking or getting boat raced in the postseason. Thatβs what they do. Buffalo isnβt far behind.
+5 point diferential.
@PackLandVA posted:RB takes handoff and hits the Dlinemen at the 5. Gets driven straight back to the 8 yard line where he then has ball punched out. Recovered by defense. How was that not whistled dead before the fumble????
The refs were consistent with not blowing the whistle on running plays all game.
49ers finally asserting some dominance.
Need to keep that up and let their defense assume control of Washington.
Terry McLaurin and Johan Dotson might be the best WR pairing in the league right now
Got all the help today. Win tomorrow and our chances look pretty good
Looks like Purdy has come back down to Earth.
Washington has a pretty good defense; actually a fairly talented team. Except at the most critical position...
Better than you get for 50 million
Nice play by Watkins.
In GB, they'd be blaming Rodgers for that INT.
Finally put that mutha away.
What a lucky day for the Packers.
If they need any more motivation than that...
I'll be damned, ammo, I had no idea.
Thought I was seeing lots of 3 and outs.
DallAss wins a 'strange' game. Giving up 34 points is not going to work in the playoffs, because scoring 40 is not the norm for the Cowboys.
I'm just hoping they don't wind up seeded higher and getting a home game.
Philly gets the 1st down at the Dallas 19 with 34 seconds and a TO. Instead of taking the TO, the Minshew clocks it. Horrible decision. That gave Philly only 3 plays to get a first/score instead of four plays. They end up with three more incompletions, lose the game, and go to the locker room with that timeout.
Dum!
Philly only needs to win one more game to lock up the #1 seed and doom Sallad to the #5 seed and on to Tampon Bay.
MInshew proved what I said a few weeks ago, any QB would look good with that OL.
Doesn't the NFL Network realize Micheal Irvin is one of the most hated former players the NFL has ever had. Why do they put this asshole on their featured game?
This just in...
David Derek Carr is NOT a good QB.
From Rodgers to that?
David is long since retired. Derek, perhaps? π

The names are incidental. The suck is real.
LOL, 86! Thanks!
I'm having a really bad week with names.
Too much mind pollution?
I got home from Christmas Eve service to catch the last minute of the Pittsburgh - Las Vegas game. Raiders lose in grand fashion!
Add in Lions, Giants, Commanders and Seachickens losses and Iβm feelinβ good.
Go Pack Go!
Christmas day game. Russell Wilson should be arrested for stealing
Regarding the other post-Christmas Eve game: The Broncos looked like a dumpster fire on meth as the Baker Mayfield led Rams made mincemeat out of them.
It's reaching the point where Nathaniel Hackett's tenure with Denver may be in jeopardy. Either way, they are likely stuck with Russell Wilson for the next few seasons.
May?
Be interesting if Sean Payton would end up in Denver and wants to bring Fangio with him. Would Denver refuse to hire him based on that?
Lol. Collinsworth thinks the Ravens/Steelers rivalry is the best in football.
Heβs so adorable.
A 50 burger.
From Baker Mayfield.
Let that sink in...
Hackett fired
STATEMENT FROM OWNER & CEO GREG PENNER
"On behalf of our ownership and organization, I want to
thank Nathaniel Hackett for his dedication as head coach
of the Denver Broncos. We sincerely appreciate Nathaniel's
efforts and wish him and his family all the best in the future.
"Following extensive conversations with George and our
ownership group, we determined a new direction would
ultimately be in the best interest of the Broncos. This
change was made now out of respect for everyone.
"Moving forward, we will carefully evaluate every aspect of
our football operations and make whatever changes are
necessary to restore this franchise's winning tradition.
"I will lead our head coaching search with support from our
ownership group and George, whom I have confidence in
as our general manager. As we begin the process of
selecting our next head coach, we remain focused on
playing competitive football to finish the season on a
positive note."
AR, coach killer in abstentia
Only question with Hackett is if they would wait until the end of the season.
Whoever gets the Denver job next has to be able to work with Russell Wilson.
The dead cap charges the next 3 years are 107 million, 85 million, and 50 million.
A first-ballot HOF QB 5 years younger than Rodgers and 11 years younger than Brady went from making the Pro Bowl 9 of his first 10 years in the NFL to being the worst QB in the NFL this year.
And they gave up what will be a top 5 pick in the 2023 draft (and their second rounder which will be between 35-40). After giving up their 1st, 2nd, and 5th rounders in 2022.
Too bad for Hackett.
I don't think he realized the bucket of shit he was stepping into in Denver.
He may or may not have been "ready" to be a HC, but the odds of him being immediately successful were stacked against him.
Maybe he can commiserate with Aaron over some ayahuasca...

Has any coach that ever worked with Rodgers in Green Bay done well anywhere else? Hackett, McAdoo, Philbin. Did any ever make the playoffs?
In contrast, assistant coaches that worked with Favre were incredibly successful: Andy Reid, Gruden, and Mariucci, among others, all had playoff success.
