Too bad for Hackett.
I don't think he realized the bucket of shit he was stepping into in Denver.
He may or may not have been "ready" to be a HC, but the odds of him being immediately successful were stacked against him.

Maybe he can commiserate with Aaron over some ayahuasca...

It certainly looked like a good job at the time he was hired. An elite defense and a HOF QB. Russell Wilson sucked.

Has any coach that ever worked with Rodgers in Green Bay done well anywhere else? Hackett, McAdoo, Philbin. Did any ever make the playoffs?

In contrast, assistant coaches that worked with Favre were incredibly successful: Andy Reid, Gruden, and Mariucci, among others, all had playoff success.

I think that's more of a reflection on the HC and not so much the players.

In spite of a short tenure, Holmgren was a generational coach, certainly the best since Lombardi. So his assistants having success is not surprising.
MM was the next best, but he wasn't in the same league as far as choosing or developing assistant coaches, much less preparing them for advancement.
MLF doesn't have enough years in to include him in my comparison, but early returns say he is much closer to MM than Holmgren.

JMHO.
