Worked with a lot of purdont engineers. Had to try and teach them that electronics in the real world don't work exactly like the books show you.

Ah someone else had to deal with that? They are crazy smart but if they have to think outside of their little bubble they are clueless

I hate to see this team appears to be poorly coached on special teams and offense…but this team seems to be poorly coached on special teams and offense.
Mertz sees a run blitz, does something at the line, and still hands it off for a 3 yard loss.
Nice. Need to try and even out that turnover ratio a little bit.
Or count on Mertz to give it back and net-zero.

Mertz might have the worst field awareness of a Badger QB I've ever seen. He sits in the pocket forever and doesn't see the blitz coming from the side of vision. Poor ball security too. Fumbles - return TD for Purdue.

I’m not a Chryst hater or for firing him but he does seem to be cultivating more and more a McStupid look.
He finally got a prized recruit QB and yet the guy sucks more than the schlub recruits he's had.

Absolutely pathetic playcalling. About 4 guys would have made that tackle.
Guy has almost has a pick 6, which if Engram does anything besides play patty cake with the guy who made the tackle, is an easy Pick 6. Because Purdue knows Chryst is terrified of Mertz screwing up, they stuff 3 plays in a row because there is no threat of play action.
1st and goal from the 1 against Purdue and you lose yardage on 2 of 3 plays.
MP2 nails it…..they are scared to trust Mertz to do anything…
