ATL is 6-3. Watch them play and they look nothing like a playoff team either.

So you have to look good while winning. Is that one of the tie breakers?

Something definitely isn't right.

It's almost as if they're purposely playing vanilla & saving it for the stretch run so as not to put anything on tape.

With 5 of the six divisional games remaining plus a tough NFC roadie with Arizona that thought has crossed my mind quite a bit.

Also not having Ty Montgomery on the field is probably hurting quite a bit. 88 is made for the short passing game on the perimeter, either from the backfield or slot.

Jordy 4.51

Monty 4.50

This offense is broke.   This is what makes the game against Detroit a toss up.

It is a systematic team failure and nobody seems to know how to fix it or are just plain incompetent.  They should be embarrassed.

Not a good look for many players, especially Kuhn and Hayward.

drifted toward receiver Jerricho Cotchery as cornerback Casey Hayward lagged slightly behind.

Well, Cotchery is a hell of a burner.  Wait, I meant to say legless slowhump.

Sounds like the team just wasn't prepared and didn't communicate well. Linsley's communication issues are surprising not only because of how good he was last year, but also because he's flanked by two all-pro guards. If he's struggling, those guys need to pick up some slack and make the right calls.

I don't know the extent of the cheating nor the impact it has made on the Patriot's success.  And I have a dislike for the franchise on this whole issue.

Regardless, the level of legitimate play of the Patriots is unfortunately probably the finest in the league and the cheating element cannot dismiss that.

When the two of you decide which side of the fence you're on let us know. Thanks.

I didn't know I was on any fence.

Stat of Week from Peter King

Aaron Rodgers, 2014: 38 TD, 5 Int.

Rodgers, 2015 (projected) 38 TD, 6 Int.

Packers after 8 games

2014:  5-3  T-1st  NFC-N

2015:  6-2  T-1st  NFC-N

Rookies always have a bit of an element of surprise vs opponents because of the lack of tape on them.  Sophomore slump has a lot to do with teams having enough history to gameplan vs. them and attack their weaknesses.   How will guys like Linsley, RR, HHCD and Adams counter?

I played IM basketball in grad school with a guy like that. Great post moves but slower than slow. Defenders couldn't handle the slowmo moves.

Rodgers was off for the whole Denver game and half of the Carolina game. He has played great otherwise.

Here's a really revealing stat from Demovsky-  a full 40% of the Packer drives go three and out, the worst in the league. Dysfunctional, broken, or whatever you want to call it it ain't working and Pittsburgh Macho needs to rediscover the magic.

There's a reason I bet the Lions to win.

The Packers aren't very good right now & any NFL team getting 5.5/1 odds to win a game is insane.

Don't worry. I haven't cashed a ticket in over 3 years

Exactly, last week we had something like 13 first downs where we gained zero or negative yards. Third down is just a symptom of first down.

Too clever by half, is the technical term for it.

You guys have obviously never seen Draft Day.

Like hitting a good change-up.
