It's Bears week!

Win or lose, the Bears still suck.

September...The new preseason.  My guess is both outfits wil be slow to get going and will be unable to sustain much of anything.  The refs too will struggle to get their eyes focused on real NFL speed and will be shaky both ways.

I hope I am wrong and we see a well played game resulting in a Packer win.

Neither teams starters have played a full game yet. So I suspect both sides will have some tired, worn out, gassed players as we get into the 3rd or 4th quarter. So, I'm thinking whoever has the best rotational players will have a distinct advantage.

For both teams, most if their starters didn't take a single snap in a preseason game. 

New offense with one of the best ever at QB. I like Packers chances, but expect it to be a close, low scoring game. 

17-13 sounds about right.

Methinks the Packers D will need to win this one.

I'll say it here. Key INT by Alexander is the game winner. Close, tight, but Pack wins late with a turnover.

Bears are three point favorites at home. Shows Vegas seems to look at this game the way we do.

I have zero clue what type of team is going to be coming out of the Packers tunnel on Thursday.  I'm sure the offense will take a more physical approach in the run game but for all we know it could be air raid time.  The defense, we know what to expect but not with the new shiny pieces.  I'm excited as hell to watch this defense. 

If I could justify a $400 ticket I'd be at the game.

I am cautiously optimistic on this one.  I think the defense has to be better... and we still have Rodgers running an offense with all of his toys healthy.  

I'll go with GB winning this one 24-20, with Jimmy Graham being a difference maker.  

23 - 20 Packers

A. Jones with over 150 total yards. 

Defense gets 2 turnovers.

What is lost is difficult to find again for aging nfl players with alot of $in the bank. 

I have zero insight into this game with new coaches, qb who never played in the preseason and a defense that looks improved on paper but hasn't shown it yet. And I want to think the bares and True Bitchski aren't as good as their record last year.

It would be a huge road victory to start the season and put us in an early driver's seat in the division. 

A loss would almost make a week 2 game vs the viqueens an early must win. 

Rodgers, Adams and Jones are a little more predictable and should be able to put up enough pts to win. 

It's all on the defense and winning the LOS. 

The last two seasons have been relatively rough for a proud franchise. Until they prove they are clicking in all phases and KerMit LaFrog shows he has this squad prepared, it's hard to see a huge primetime road victory.

Absolutely no idea what to expect Thursday night. Sounds like the QB and the organization are attempting to temper expectations a bit.

I'm predicting both Smith Brothers get sacks on Trubiscuit on Thursday night. Gary gets double teamed, all night, opening the door for others(i.e. Fackrell),  to nail Trubiscuit and the Bare's RBs for big losses. Big game from Kenny Clark, as well.  Packers win 31-14.

I'm just looking for Gary and Graham to have good games for no other reason than to piss a few dudes off around here. 

I'm hoping Kevin King doesn't get hurt.

I do feel comfortable predicting the current coach will have more of a commitment to the run than the previous one did.

And if Rodgers passes for 300+ yards and they win?  All I hope for is a coach that adjusts to beat an individual team's weakness.  Running and running again against the Bears isn't exactly smart.  The threat of the run or short passing game is.

The run or the threat of the run didn't mean shit in McVince's offense because it was so predictable.
