I gotta believe that if MLF thought Love was capable, he would green light it.  This is more of a red flag for Love than MLF in my opinion.

Not necessarily. Remember, this is the same coach who stated weeks before his first training camp in GB he wasn’t going to allow Rodgers to audible, because his offense didn’t require it. It took some pretty heavy bitching from 12 to change Lafleur’s mind.

It sure looks to me that on numerous plays in the last three weeks, Love has been surprised by what the defense does and things he thought were going to be open aren't. Game planning by DCs has been a step ahead of our offense and MLF & Steno must counter.

Didn’t know that.  The fact that it then led to two MVP seasons is crazy.

Some MLF facts;

The year before he was hired as OC of the Titans, they were 25th in total offense, that same year the Packers were 10th.

The first year he was our HC, the Packers were 17th and Tennessee was 15th

In the next 3 seasons we were 2nd, 12th, and 17th.

Currently we are 28th.

Colin Cowturd today said if Jordan Love doesn’t light up Denver, GBP has no option but to draft a high round QB next year. He always finds fault with GB and exaggerates the situation. Wouldn’t even listen to that clown, but the alternative at that time is Jim Rome, who I feel is a disrespectful punk.

Sure I want Love to light up the Broncos too. But step back a second, folks. Favre and Rodgers had ups and downs in their first years, as well.

I have never figured out what it is about the Packers and the state of Wisconsin that Cowturd hates so much.  Did someone from from Wisconsin steal his wife or girlfriend at some point?

I agree that Favre and Rodgers had growing pains and Love is going to as well.  That is what you get with young QBs.

Speaking of...

Cowherd is on the same level of Florio. They both hate GB. But they also know ragging on the Packers generates clicks. Both opinions mean less than nothing. Always first in line to pile on, always remiss and absent when GB has success.

I give credit to MLF for seeing the error in his ways and making the change. Critical as I was that Rodgers abandoned the run so much, it was madness for MLF to ignore all those years of experience changing plays at the line to good effect.

No, it’s because every time he criticizes the Packers yahoos tune in in mass to see what he has to say so they can bash him.

I don’t know about you, but when someone pisses me off I don’t reach out to pour money into their pockets.

Prior to joining ESPN somewhere around 2000 Cowherd was just your normal low keyed sportscaster and sports director.  He was named Nevada's Sportscaster of the Year five times. He was nothing like what he turned into so I know it's all just an act. The shock value sells, those are the guys making the money.

The Packers have a very large, rabid fan base so they are the perfect target to poke with a stick.

Yeah, he's crafted his own schtick, that's for sure. The main problem, as you mentioned, is the controversial take industry. People end up having little choice but to join the fray. It's what made pre-game shows and many podcasts unwatchable. The competition today is a far cry from just three network channels and ESPN plus local sports radio. These days it's more bother to filter people/shows out than it is to get information.

I would never know a thing any of those loudmouths spout if it wasn't for posters bringing it here and sharing it.   I have zero interest in seeing it, but we all fan in our own way.  To each their own I guess.

31-17 Broncos

They’re a young team experiencing growing pains which is expected. What’s surprising is the fact that MLF can’t seem to get his team ready to play.

Hopefully, having Aaron Jones back will light the spark this team needs to get moving in the right direction….if MLF decides to actually use him for more than five plays.

This is why the only guy I actually intentionally tune in to hear (other than the local sports show) is Rich Eisen. The guy is a a pro’s pro. No shock jock talk, no talking down to the audience, just feels like a fun conversation with people who love the game.

I don’t really care for Cowherd but he does seem to have some good (rare) NBA takes.  The NFL or college football?  Not so much.

As for GB, not sure I can recall a recent game with as much importance as this one.  They need a win badly.  You lose to those clowns and it’s going to get ugly.

@Wulff….Concur. Although to be perfectly honest, I consume ZERO sports talk and pre-game and I’m a better person for it. Have stumbled upon Eisen and found him collegial and intelligent.

Also.

Why do I have this Eeyore like feeling that Barry is at this moment putting the finishing touches on a game plan that will reinvigorate Russ’ career path?

I am generally not an Eeyore type of fan but I I also have that feeling.  It just feels like a game that Barry will come up with a Mr. Whipple soft defense.

Don’t have a good feeling about this game at all.   Why does it seem like these are the games the Packers struggle?

Wilson goes crazy Broncos 31 Packers 20

Joe Berry gets canned tomorrow

If Barry gets canned tomorrow I could accept the loss.
