There are 16 bottles of Blanton's in all of Oregon, selling at $59.95. All of them are at liquor stores more than 5 hour drive from Portland.

Blanton's is nice, but paying >$75 for it is crazy, unless it's your favorite thing, in which case, godspeed man!

Well, see, $65 is what I was used to paying, and their used to be plenty of it at almost every liquor store I went to.  I wouldn't pay more than that unless it was for a rare cask strength Michter's bourbon (around $75).  The rest are just overpriced in my opinion.  Now if someone were to give me a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 23, I wouldn't complain.  Problem is, I don't buy bourbon just to look at it.

Blanton's is tough to find.  I love all bourbons from the Buffalo Trace family... Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace are nice.  Blanton's is obviously great but my favorite is Colonel E.H. Taylor.  Best bourbon I've ever had.

I too like the Buffalo Trace family.  In fact, Buffalo Trace bourbon is a great offering for about $27.  I've had EAgle Rare, it's a good one.  I've never tried Colonel E.H. Taylor, but now I'm going to have to.

From the hard-hitting journalism of Packers.com.  This interview response alone should get him fired.  What a clueless turd.

Special teams coordinator Maurice Drayton

On the FG/PAT unit making several in a row the last couple weeks:

I'm definitely not keeping track of that. We just take it one rep at a time. The goal each time we take the field with that unit is to go 1-0. That group has put together back-to-back weeks of good practice preparation, and that generally equates to game reality.

On where things are headed:

We feel like we're trending in the right direction as it pertains to what we're getting on the practice field. But once again, we have to take it to the game field. That's where it counts, that's what we're getting judged on. Whenever they ask us to play, it has to show up at that time.

Brown DL is looking pretty banged up. No Garrett again today, Jackson not practicing,  and Clowney remain on the Covid list.

acmepacking with some film cutups on OT Dennis Kelly

Kelley and the OL get a little break this week with Tak out and Myles Garrett nursing a groin.  ( is that a euphemism for icing cookies ? )

"For his first start of the season, Kelly performed about how you would expect. The issue with speed rushes are a concern... However, he soon settled in and while Kelly has only started in 30 games through his nine-year career, he brings experience and reliability to the position.

He’s not Billy Turner or David Bakhtiari, but as the teams fifth offensive tackle, he is very good. It’s another depth signing that is paying huge dividends for general manager Brian Gutekunst. Hopefully, Turner and Bakhtiari are able to return to the lineup sooner rather than later, but the Packers are in good hands with Kelly and Nijman until that day comes."

Sounds like Tretter will not play:

I remember when as a Packer we used to be happy he didn’t play.

I always thought that Linsley was a little thicker, better at anchoring vs bull rush and would never be knocked back off LOS ....Tretter was more athletic, could get out to LBers quicker on running plays....my observation was that Linsley was better when defenses played a nose over the center and Tretter was better when they didn't. As Timmy said, each was going to be good for us, TYretter just happened to get injured.

Exactly.  I thought Tretter offered a little more versatility but they are both outstanding pros.

At what point do these COVID related decisions effect competitive advantage? Maybe I answered my own question, but even though I know every team may or may not be going through similar circumstances the fact that we have 3rd string players starting and alike week in and week out just seems silly. I’m starting to think I’d rather have the league suspend games rather than play with the turn style of players week to week.

Not with the playoffs on the verge.  Zero chance.  I wouldn't be surprised if there is a tweaking of COVID protocols for vaccinated players.
