It doesn't matter. MLF will probably get fired after next year and end up on another staff somewhere. He'll likely parlay that into another OC or head coaching job within the next 5 years.
Joe Barry was the DC for a team that went 0-16 with he 32nd ranked defense in 2008. Somehow, he still got two more DC jobs since then. He's been exposed for 15 years yet he keeps getting jobs. To be fair, he did improve to have the 28th ranked defense with Washington in between Detroit and Green Bay.

To say Watson looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane is unfair. Jane was a lot tougher.

I am old enough to remember the incredible excitement for the John Jefferson trade in 1981. I was a huge San Diego Chargers fan in the late 1970s, Jefferson was my favorite NFL player. He came to the Pack and was good but never as dominant as he was as a Charger.

Why should anyone be upset with the LA CHARGERS when desperate Dan Devine made the worst trade in Packer history to acquire John Hadl from the LA RAMS?
Hadl had previously been traded by the then SAN DIEGO Chargers to the Rams when LA fleeced an obviously in over his head Devine.
The mid-70s Packers were really something to behold.

I think this happened while I was in kindergarten so wasn’t old enough to follow the NFL at that point.
That really is an insane trade. I started following the Pack in 1978 so they were at least somewhat recovered from that crazy trade, but I can only imagine how bad 1974 - 1977 was.

It really was fun to watch those Chargers teams. Almost always had Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen doing their games on NBC on national TV.
I was pretty much 50/50 Chargers/Packers in like 1978 -1980. I’d say by 1982-83 my Chargers fandom dwindled and I became 100% Packers fan.
the Packers offense with Dickey, Coffman, Gerry Ellis, Lofton and Jefferson was amazing. But just like today, it was always that damn defense that let the team down. Except for the year the Packers had Ted Hendricks, those defenses were just as bad as anything we have recently witnessed.

His final statistics with the Packers include a 43.5 percent completion percentage, two touchdowns, six interceptions and a passer rating of 30.9.

The problem with that offense is Dickey invented the "wind" sack. The breeze of a defensive lineman running by was enough to put him down. I guess a couple major lower body injuries justifies that.
