He lost that game when he took over for Favre half way through, Reggie was on the team.

Oh ya, minor detail there!
michiganjoe posted:The good news: Whitewater Jesus is back so the drop-off if Adams can't play will be negligible.
Hell, that's like an even trade!
They used to say in the old days that the Packers just need a running back or a fullback.
When you had Cecil Isbell and Don Hutson that was all you needed.
AR doin' pretty good against the blitz:
Through four weeks, @Jaboowins has been great vs blitz according to passer rating.

RT Bryan Bulaga back at practice Wednesday for #Packers. DL Montravius Adams & S Will Redmond also returned. Not practicing: WR Davante Adams, CB Kevin King, RB Jamaal Williams, CB Tony Brown, LB Kyler Fackrell. Team was inside Hutson Center.

No Light at RT would certianly be welcomed.
I wonder if we'll finally see Shitbird carry the rock this weekend.
No King, Brown or Greene in the backed is rough. I hope we don't see much more of Redmond. I'd prefer those snaps go to Jackson while Williams fills in for King. If we lose anyone else during the game, that means the 6th round kid , Hollman gets in the game.
Bulaga and Montravious being back is great news.
Will be very interesting to see how Pettine responds after getting outsmarted by Doug Pederson. More than anything, want to see if the defense mans up after getting pushed around by the Eagles.
I don't know if Adams will play this week, but he's moving around a lot better then he was 6 days ago.
Eagle-eye @JohnDoranTV spotted Adams, sans jersey. https://t.co/rWZox2noo1

Hopefully he got that device that Eric Dickerson was tweeting about that helped him with turf toe.
gutie looks like he just rolled out of bed.

He just came from his massage upstairs.
And getting Buck and Aikman. Still don't quite get why some Packer fans can't stand them.
Is there anyone, save for Romo. that they do like?
Williams was a third-round pick in 2017. He's an outside linebacker. Former teammate of Za'Darius Smith. Packers will need to make a cut from the 53. https://t.co/fczbdnThvc

Question to Aaron Rodgers: "Would you be surprised if Davante played Sunday?"
β Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) October 2, 2019
"Nothing would surprise me with 17, but hopefully itβs this week or next week."

You could have #17, Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver and James Lofton in their prime all available and if you can't RTFB it doesn't mean shit.
Oh yeah, and the defense needs to step up and figure out how to do what worked so well the first 3 weeks...get turnovers.
This game is hardly unwinnable.

I'll have Wayne and Larry broadcasting the game on the Packers' Radio Network while watching the game on TV.
Six of the seven writers are picking the Packers.
Kyler Fackrell (shoulder) back at practice for the #Packers

Recently acquired OLB Tim Williams is also in pads today. He is wearing No. 53.
Out:
β’Davante Adams (toe)
β’ Jamaal Williams (concussion) - but in a jersey
β’ Kevin King (groin)
β’ Tony Brown (hamstring)
Wonder how ABM will use Williams, who I liked in college even though he hasn't done much in the pros.
Sure looks like Kevin King (groin) will miss Sunday's game in Dallas. If he does, it'll be his 18th missed game in 3 years. He's played in 19 games.

Knew expecting King to stay healthy was wishful thinking.
King played really well against the Eagles too. Talent doesn't matter much if you can't stay on the field....
It's a good thing that the Cowboys will run all over Green Bay so they won't have to worry about stopping the pass with one CB.

Wondering if they will try him at ILB.
Cryboys a banged up group:

DeMarcus Lawrence is on the injury report with knee and shoulder injuries but Jason Garrett said the defensive end is dealing with a bruised heel as well. Lawrence was on the field during the open portion of practice but should be limited again. Tyrone Crawford is practicing for the first time in two weeks because of a hip issue.

For the second straight day right tackle La'el Collins is not practicing because of a back injury but there is optimism he will be able to play Sunday. Left tackle Tyron Smith is also missing practice for the second straight day but it is unlikely he will play because of an ankle sprain. Rookie Brandon Knight took snaps at right tackle with Connor Williams sticking at left guard after working at tackle Wednesday.
and..
Antwaun Woods' status is up in the air, but he could need another week before he returns from a sprained knee.
michiganjoe posted:King played really well against the Eagles too. Talent doesn't matter much if you can't stay on the field....
Supposedly, King's groin is not considered serious and if they keep him out, (sure sounds that way) it's to avoid this becoming an issue long term. Similar with what they did late in pre-season with the hamstring.
As plenty have said though, until King puts a season together where he plays 16 games in a season, fans will rightly label him as injury prone.
So will White Lightening finally be brought into this offense?
Kumerow said heβs back to full strength after missing the last two weeks with a shoulder injury, and while he is a favorite of Rodgers, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater alumnus has played only seven offensive snaps this season and seven NFL games total. He has caught nine career passes for 115 yards and a score.
michiganjoe posted:King played really well against the Eagles too. Talent doesn't matter much if you can't stay on the field....
Part of talent is staying on the field. Wrap him in bubble wrap.
I'm sick and tired of reading about King and his plethora of injuries... The dude is a joke.
King has a load of talent. But that talent doesn't help the team when it's on the sideline for half of his short career. If this guy plays anything less than 13-14 games, then cut bait. He's an undependable roster spot regardless of his talent.
The coaching staff and conditioning guys just need to get the guy in shape to play NFL football.
From @gmfb: #Packers WR Davante Adams (turf toe) has not practiced yet this week, and heβll need to if heβs gonna play on Sunday. Today is a big day. pic.twitter.com/QkfFsPhfnn

Any player: "Coach, I can't go this week because my toe is sore."
Lombardi: "Pack your shit pussy."
Didn't Sharpe go like 1/2 a year of no practice (but still played) when he got hit with turf toe? I would expect very little practice time for Adams over the next 6-8 weeks. It's probably going to bother him until he has the offseason to fully recover.
