Ravens are just a MASH unit:

Villanueva is their 2nd string LT, they lost starter Ronnie Stanley earlier in the year. CB1 and CB 2 are out with both Marcus Peters and Marlon Humphrey on the sidelines. So in some ways - their MASH unit resembles GB with big losses on OL and at CB

the "Villanueva" name reminds me of the famous Esmeralda Villa Lobos

@TomSilverstein: #Packers NT Kenny Clark was added to the COVID-19 reserve list, according to Matt LaFleur. That would likely rule him out Sunday.

LaFleur said that rookie TJ Slaton will have to play a significant role Sunday with nose tackle Kenny Clark added to the Covid list. Said others will have to pick up the slack as well.

LaFleur said that Jordan Love will take all the reps today in practice with Rodgers sidelined again.

That is a lot of slack to take up.  Good luck rookie.

Click for full Lamar Jackson update.

He didn't practice Thursday.

Backup Tyler Huntley prepping for start.

Ravens signed QB Josh Johnson off Jets' practice squad, likely as backup.

"Huntley has completed 58 of 85 passes for 528 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception in four appearances in 2021. He played well enough in his lone start to beat the Bears back in Week 11."

Huge bummer about Kenny. Hope he's good to go by the 25th.

So we get Huntley or a hobbled Jackson. I might prefer the hobbled Jackson. He's been pretty bad this year with good wheels.

I’ll look at it on the glass half full side. Assuming he has a mild case (Crossing fingers ), he gets a well deserved bye week. Then comes back with energy and ready to kick ass next week.

NFL also making it easier for vaccinated positive tests to come back quicker. Fingers crossed for Clark.

Included in the updated protocols are changes to how fully vaccinated players can "test out" of COVID-19 protocols and return from quarantine quicker. The NFL provided three testing options for a fully vaccinated individual to return provided he or she is asymptomatic for at least 24 hours. In the updated protocols, an individual's return from quarantine is possible as soon as the day after his or her initial positive test.

Just the little I’ve seen of Huntley, he’s good enough to be a pain in the ass sort of like Taylor Heinecke was a few weeks ago.  I think Baltimore has enough weapons that they’ll give problems to the Pack’s defense no matter which QB plays.

If the Pack was healthy, I’d feel confident in a win this week.  But they are so beaten up right now, this is probably going to be a nailbiter whether it’s Jackson or Huntley scrambling around for Baltimore.

Hell, we found a way to give up 30 points to a sorry ass Bears team that isn’t as good as this one, so I’ll just be happy to come out of this with a win.

To sum up the Ravens on Thursday: Lamar Jackson missed 2nd straight day of practice.

3 starting offensive linemen didn't practice.

Chuck Clark, the last remaining starter in secondary, was placed on reserve/COVID list The Ravens play host to NFC-leading Packers on Sunday.
