The nice thing is they've already played similar QB's (though not exactly the same offenses) in Murray and Mahomes (Fields and Wilson don't count this year) and looked like they had good game plans for them.  Keep him hemmed in and get pressure up the nose.

I remember talking about these QB's this spring when the schedule came out and being mildly terrified our D wouldn't be able to handle them.  They were terrific vs. Murray.

I hear what you're saying but Jackson is in a league of his own.  There hasn't been a QB like him since Vick IMO.  He's on an entirely different level from Murray or Mahomes.

Whenever I think of QBs with ankle injuries, I always think back to the one season where TOG had a fairly severe sprain, and shouldn't have played for an upcoming game vs the Vikes.
But the staff taped it up until it was the thickness of his leg, and he gutted it out, for that and several more following games.

I expect the same for Jackson. As long as he can hobble around, I'm sure Hairball's preference is to play him. A game-time decision of 'no go' wouldn't be surprising, but I'm confident the defense will be prepared either way.

Disagree.  When Murray is healthy he's just as elusive and a better passer.  It's why he was leading MVP race before he got dinged.  Most criticism of Jackson has been he isn't progressing as a passer.

If Jackson’s ankle is anywhere near as bad as TOG’s was for that game, I hope he plays. TOG didn’t need his ankles to play well.  Jackson will be absolutely useless on the field if he can’t run.

Let's hope that tomorrow doesn't become a case of GB being a bit too smug, especially if Jackson can't go. That didn't work out so well the first week...

Smugness won’t be a problem.  Lack of players due to injuries and covid could be a problem.  Both teams will be playing lots of 2nd stringers which makes this a tricky game to evaluate even though the Pack legitimately should be favored.

And after watching the Pack’s special teams last week, we’ll all be holding our breath every time that unit takes the field.

The Ravens have a great pass rush and can stop the run. And what worries me most about their pass rush is that it could lead to an aggravation of Rodgers toe or even worse. Packers will want to pass a lot but that means a heavy dose of pass rush against backups on our line. So our offense will need, or at least try, to run the ball even when it’s not productive.
