This Sunday, at Atlanta, 1:00pm EST on Fox.

Just checked my cable provider in the DC-Virginia area. Hot damn, they’re showing the game! Guess it’s that Jordan Love effect 😉.

Don’t know much about ATL other than they’re 1-0 and have some weapons… Kyle Pitts (underused according to pundits), this year’s first round pick RB Bijan Robinson who put out some nice tape yesterday.

Fast track in a dome… will be fun to see how all the kids react.

This game could be a pretty good test.  Its a road game after facing your rival on the road and Atlanta does have some good talent that may challenge them.

I don't think I will get the game unfortunately.  Any suggestions that are reliable to stream it?

On game day, go to https://www.nflbite.com. They will list a number of streams for each game, which usually go live about 15 minutes or so before kickoff. I usually pick amongst the first one to three links listed and give them a test run before KO. Be patient with pop-ups, there are always 3 or 4 in sequence while you are trying to “turn on” the video.

The Falcons are all rush, no pass.

They have Robinson (10 rush/56 yards) and Allgeier (15 rush/75 yards in the backfield who represent their biggest offensive threat. Robinson added another 27 yards with 6 catches (led all receivers), Allgeier had another 19 yards on 3 receptions (and also a fumble).

Ridder finished with barely 90 net yards passing, was sacked 4 times, and apparently had to escape pressure most of the day.

The Falcons defense gave up 154 yards rushing, and had 2 INTs and 2 sacks.
They only gave up 146 yards passing, but factor in they were facing a rookie QB making his first start.

With this in mind, I think a similar game plan as the Packers had vs Chitcago would be in order, minus the rushing threat from the QB.
The front 7 will have their work cut out for them, and it's likely to be an all-day job. Contain the rush and generate pressure on the QB.
On offense, they need to pound 'em with a steady dose of (hopefully) Jones, Dillon, Taylor, and maybe even Wilson.
Love will have to be sharp passing, and the receivers need to be on top of their game.

I haven’t seen much of their QB Ridder.  Last time I saw him, Alabama was boat racing his team in the college football playoffs.  In fairness to Ridder, Alabama has done that to ALOT of QBs over the years so probably not a fair evaluation.

As others have said Robinson and Pitts are freaks and can take one to the house anytime they get the ball.  WR London has some talent as well though he was shut out last week.

It would be interesting to see if they start slowly if they would bench Ridder and try using Taylor Heinecke as a spark at QB.

Jesse Bates has 2 INTs yesterday. Sure that was vs Bryce Young but gotta focus and play another conference game.

RTFB (Dillon!!)

Defense stop the run & wreck the game.  Someone needs to cover Kyle Pitts. If Heinecke gets in, he will force feed the ball to Pitts. Ridder might do the same

Rashan Gary had a sack nullified by penalty. He is working his way back and other teams still have to account for him.

I only noticed him a few times that he was in but every time I watched him he was doing bad things to the pocket.

Yet he still recorded 5 pressures.

That non-sack...man, I felt for Fields's family.  That was nasty.

They were probably being careful with that bullshit turf in Soldier Field.

5/12 pressures or causing havoc for the QB. Continue rehab and strengthening that ACL and your entire body R. Gary

#69 still got it.

one play early in the game, he was real slow getting up, I thought oh crap...but he slowly got up and balled out...

I wonder what Bak was saying to Love on sidelines late in game. It looked like big bro giving QB1 a nod.

You got to think it was at least initially a weird dynamic given 69's relationship with Rodgers. I'm not at all saying there was drama, but you have to think there may have been a mention of it in Love/Bak relationship.

I don’t know why it would be weird with Jordan. Bakh is close with AR but he knows what a flaky drama queen he is too. If anything David probably respects Jordan a lot for how hard he’s worked and how he’s handled the drama. If 10 has made any missteps team-wise they’ve certainly been buried. Other than Aaron Jones it doesn’t look as if there’s anyone more popular among the players.

And Reed made a nice play on it as well. He waited as long as he could to make sure the ball wasn't going to take a weird bounce, and then he covered it at about nine yards -- deep enough to see what the ball was doing but before the other team got too close.

What was interesting about that kick was that it was rolling, but not very fast. Because of the slow speed, Reed had to make a choice: wait to see if it stopped short of 10 yards or get to it a bit early before the other team blocked him out of position and they could recover it at 10 yards. Obviously, his taking a chance on recovering it a bit early worked out.

More churn.

From packers.com:

The Green Bay Packers signed OL Michael Jordan to the practice squad and released TE Austin Allen from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Jordan (6-6, 315), a fifth-year player out of Ohio State, was originally selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round (No. 136 overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. After two seasons with the Bengals (2019-20), he played the past two years with the Carolina Panthers (2021-22). Overall, Jordan has played in 55 regular-season games with 29 starts at left guard. He played right guard for his first two seasons in college before switching to center as a junior. Jordan earned first-team All-America honors from SI.com and second-team honors from the Walter Camp Football Foundation in 2018. Jordan will wear No. 79 for the Packers.

bijan is good, I watched their game, he's quick, big, and strong...but he doesn't look awkward...his body fits him...if that makes sense...like someone said 88 keeps tripping because he hasn't figured out his body yet...he's too fast for his mind to catch up...that rb doesn't have that problem...he will be a test, same with pitts and london...they also have a good OL...will be a good test for us.
