Tough to have a CB who is "reluctant" to tackle. If we play off zone coverage the offense will put their biggest receiver there, throw a 2 yard pass to him and make the CB tackle. If he plays press man coverage they will run to his side. Alexander has had games where he has been very aggressive, but others where he avoided contact, tough to say which guy you are going to get.

Giants OL is a train wreck. Neal (who is terrible) is out at RT. His backup is worse per PFF. Gary, Clark, Smith and even Van Ess should be feasting.

Packers have ruled Jaire Alexander out for tomorrow night’s game.

You gotta be shitting me?

His Vagina is sore.

Somebody has to be inactive 🤷‍♂️

If he’s not healthy and sits, Packers fans call him soft, not living up to the extension, a big mouth, afraid to tackle, took the money and sat.

If he’s not healthy and play, but is not as effective, Packers fans call him soft, not living up to the extension, a big mouth, afraid to tackle, took the money and sat.

Nobody quits on Packers quicker than Packers fans.

JA played in every game last year and was a 1st team All Pro. Sucks that he is having trouble with his shoulder. Soft he ain't.

I really don't think he's soft....I do think they may be saving him for the stretch run. They could really use Jaire's skills vs. Mike Evans of the Bucs.

No team is more conservative with player injuries than the Packers.

As good as this organization is at keeping things in house I can't help but think there's a lot more below the surface with regards to 23. Practicing but not playing and seemingly no clear answers as to whether the medical staff has him cleared to play. Begs a lot of questions.

Lots of questions. If only William of Ockham were around to ask.

PT Barnum has an answer for anyone that believes everything coming out of 1265 at face value. The PR department gets paid for a reason

Occam indicates to me a guy who already earned guaranteed money is less likely to risk future injury to get back out on the field than a guy trying to earn guaranteed money. I don't blame him, either. Same for Bak. They're trying to take care of their families and their future health in a business that cuts them in a heartbeat the second they can't perform.

Ah yes a backup QB on MNF.  I am honestly worried that the Packers could get Hoovered.

Eh, at this point he's as much a starter as a backup. If the Gnats didn't have all that $$$ invested in Jones I bet Danny Devito would be the guy for the rest of 2023.

MLF's demeanor when asked about it also raises red flags. He's been as combative when talking about Jaire as he was about Bakh earlier in the season.

What's odd to me is Jaire said this shoulder injury was as bad the one he had a couple years ago.  But that injury he sat out 13 games on IR and there was an obvious play where it happened.

This injury there is no real play you can pinpoint to say when it happened.  He got a game ball that same game.  Yet he's been out now for 5 weeks straight and has missed 8 weeks total.  He could have been placed on IR but it's obvious they didn't for a reason because they thought he could come back.

In any case the young bucks have played well in his absence so it doesn't matter, but it's a real strange situation.

He answered that in his media availability this week.
