I'm glad they did. Maybe that'll light more of a fire under our guys. And the bad press they'll be getting this week.
Little to no fire right now... something's got to change.
Marty LaFleur vs Robert Saleh familiarity is another factor.
Yes, Saleh's familiarity with MLF and they just put up 40 on the Phins.
What could possibly go wrong?
@TomSilverstein: #Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the urgency to line up and play needs to be better on defense. Said some of the crossing routes were completed because they weren't quite set on defense.
@BillHuberNFL: LaFleur says the play-to-play consistency has to improve on defense. Defense should have done more to challenge the Giants' injury-plagued receivers, he says.
@TomSilverstein: LaFleur said he told DC Joe Barry to be careful with exotic pressures against the #Giants because of their ability to get the ball to Saquon Barkley in the pass game. He said two of their sacks were nullified by penalty.
@BillHuberNFL: Barry needs to do more to get defense to reach potential, LaFleur says, but the players need to execute better, too. Too many "one-offs," LaFleur says. Need all 11 doing their job.
I am not sure Newman keeps his job after getting buried yesterday against the Giants. That was as ugly a play as I have seen lately. The DL blew up Newman so bad he affected AR getting set. Reminded me of Reggie White in the Super Bowl thrown the OT at the QB.
Sorry, feeling very bad over this game......iβm thinking a loss for sure.
Fear our shitty coaching staff. Except Bisaccia, he's harsh.
Even though the Jets game has been already decided I still think I will watch.
Can't believe I'm saying this but not only a "must win" but a statement game for sure. Not only win at home but win convincingly. get out to a lead and maintain it so there is no doubt to the outcome by the end of the 3rd qtr.
I've been a Packer fan since 65. I can't remember Packer Nation being so pissed off about a loss. Not only in here but all over social media. I know one thing. If the weather is nice, I'm not going to sit and watch another pathetic performance like I saw on Sunday. Won't even stream games anymore if they aren't on. Sick of the same BS year after year.
Overreaction Monday
I think the angst is a result of us almost losing and losing to teams in consecutive weeks that we are significantly more talented than.
It is time for the leader of the offense to tell everybody to R E L A X

It might be time for somebody to quit "relaxing" so much with the shrooms !
Goldie uses marijuana, not shrooms.

Not sure any loss can surpass 2014 NFCCG debacle in Seattle.

The 4th and 26 in Philly?
The Favre OT INT against the Giants when every other player was wide open accept the guy he threw it to. Although I guess technically the DB was wide open.
@RochNyFan posted:That sucked, but there were about five 4th and 26 type plays pulled off by Seattle.
Including an actual 4th and 26 that Seattle converted I believe
I'm sorry but nothing was worse than losing in the Super Bowl.

Who should we fear this week?
RB Breece Hall. He had 97 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving against the Dolphins last week. I have no clue how good Miami's defense is but that kind of duel threat back is something I worry about a lot especially with GBs rush defense.
Hot take: Packers fans are spoiled.
The Jets are a decent team, and this is going to be another one score game. The Packers canβt get out of their own way. 27-23 Jets win.
Yeah, I was annoyed how they lost to the NYG but the simple fact is they were outplayed and outcoached. The Giants were the better team.
As for βPacker Nationβ being upset, well, 4th and 26, the Fail Mary in Seattle, the 2014 playoff debacle in Seattle, the 2007 playoff loss to the NYG and the 2001 ass kicking at home to the Falcons (1st home playoff loss) might want to have a word for you.
Regular season games? I recall being pissed off in them blowing a big lead to the Chiefs and Jue giving up a long TD in OT. Think that was early 2000s. Also remember a game against Cincy about 10 years ago when another huge 2nd half lead was blown that was capped off by the Bengals long defensive TD.
As for the Jets, if the Packers play like they have the last few weeks then the NYJ have a real shot. Hopefully GB comes out on fire and drops the hammer. If not, and God forbid another loss, itβs going to get really ugly.
@Packiderm posted:THIS!!!
Packers fans are also tired of seeing their team play down to the level of their opponents. I'll bet we lose this one, if we need a TD on 3rd down from the 2 yard line and we don't run the damn ball, twice, if needed, to get it.

I think the point should beβ¦.no teams fear the GBP.
I'll be there for this game. Might provide a new avatar for BK.
I noticed that after 35 and 70 snaps, Bakh dropped back to 25 for the London game. 38 for Yosuah. I know the rotation was planned but I wonder if they had planned to split things 40/60 like this?
Hope to see Bakh with another 60+ game this week. Need to be working towards getting Newman to the bench.
I think they were worried about the field turf for Bakh. You could easily see the seams all over the field. Didn't look like a great surface for a guy who lost 2 years to a knee injury.
I see this a lot about Bakh missing 2 years. "Missed 2 years" has been out there enough that it's become a thing now. He was injured on New Years Eve of 2020. So he missed the final game of the year plus the playoffs. Missed all of 2021 except for the Lions game. So between 2020 and 2021 he essentially missed one full season plus playoffs.
Then he misses the first 2 games of 2022. Has played 3 games since then. That's 19 games not counting postseason in what is now a 17 game schedule. I think lost 2 years is more than a bit of an exaggeration but I guess I'm in the minority there. It's a very popular way to phrase it.
Similar to what MLF talked about in his presser .... people said on next to last drive "only 26 seconds came off the clock , the defense had no time to rest". The play lock between snaps is 40 seconds regardless of a run or incomplete pass, the defense is getting the same time to rest in either case. Of course that is why it is about making First Downs, regardless of how you get them, that is the only thing that keeps the defense off the field.

I totally agree. Quietly, the Jets have vastly upgraded their skill position talent from what it was a couple years ago. They arenβt the β99 Rams but Corey Davis, the 2 rookies Wilson and Hall, plus Elijah Moore is a pretty good group of skill guys.

They still should not be a problem for the talent on the Packers defense.
If you sit back in soft zone and don't blitz, then these guys are good enough to eventually get open. The passive scheme works when the other guys have to play WRs they literally pulled off the street that week (Cole Beasley on the Bucs) or have crappy, inexperienced QBs (Justin Fields and Zappee).
Anybody else just looking forward to a normal noon kickoff at Lambeau Field? Pretty rare occurrence these days.

Hey, it could be worse. Ferentz's son could be our offensive coordinator.
