Its almost like the vikings did not go out to the field before the game for their run through and notice how AWFUL the conditions were....so weird...

Did they fire, or reprimand, their equipment manager, yet? Why they did not switch to better shoes, is pretty amazing, to me. For all their whining about a 'flooded' field, they did not seem to notice that the Packers were not slipping, during the game.

My nephew has a friend in Racine who drove past Green Bay in his pickup listening to sports radio....he’s not sure because there was a lot of road noise, but he told the server at Culver’s when he stopped in Sheboygan that an equipment manager had stopped in earlier in the day and told him that it was Lazard that got hurt.

Take it for what it’s worth.

Damn, if it is him.

It takes a special kind of idot to not check what type of cleats the other team is wearing whenever it's a grass field. They know the field better than anyone, and if they have shoes with seven studs and you have on shoes with four studs... you deserve whatever you get.

I'm thinking more like a Chad Clifton injury, altho it is hard to believe a hit like that would happen in practice.

Yeah, I agree. The Bridgewater injury happened in practice. He went back to set up to throw and his knee just came apart. If I recall, there was talk that he had torn the ACL in the game a few days before and either didn't know it or say anything. Then, when he stepped back in practice, everything just went, including bones moving into places they shouldn't go.

An A&W employee was in the middle of making a root beer float and spotted Lazard burning a heater outside of a Kwik Trip.

He was identified as Lazard because he was kicking around a soccer ball.

Lions all-pro center, Ragnow didn't practice Weds or Thursday with a foot injury, but did practice today. I expect that he will play, but worth keeping an eye on whether he is 100%. I really think the match-up of their interior o-line vs our d-line is a huge factor in this game. Slaton, Wyatt, Clark, & Reed have played well of late but this o-line is one of the best we will face all year. However, we held them to 254 yards and 15 pts. in the first game .... if we duplicate that I don't see us losing this game.

The first thing I always did before any soccer game was to walk onto the field and check the surfaceâ€Ķthen I would walk back to my car and put on the only pair of cleats I had.

In my drinking days I used to do that in bars. I would walk in, check out the surface and determine my footwear. Somehow I still managed to end up losing a shoe and have beer stains all over me. Whew, I am glad those days are over!

Read elsewhere earlier this week that P Smith needs 1 1/2 sacks to achieve a $1M bonus, and has other bonuses available with more sacks.
He should be playing with his hair on fire.

Loins are a little nicked up on the interior of their vaunted OL.
Awosika (G) has already been declared out, Ragnow (C) is hanging on by a thread, and Brown (another G) is sketchy. The latter 2 may be able to play, but how effective they will be is anybody's guess.

And I think Rodgers and Watson may have a few words for Elliott.
