Not expecting a W this week.   Lions are on fire and we are scraping by the Jags.

That's fine, get in the dance and get hot at the right time.   We have yet to peak and it probably won't be this week.

I'm just going to save this, right here.....for when the Packers win by 13 next week

Why even play the game?

It's easy to pick them to lose. It's hard to win in the NFL

The Packers have the tools to beat the loins, but will they...
(a) be able to use all of them?
(b) make effective use of the ones they can?

If this game comes down to one thing, that would be pass rush (or lack thereof).
Pressure on Goff creates TO opportunities, no pressure means he'll slice and dice the defense for 30+ points.

If it were to come down to two things, it would be the above and run blocking. Being able to run would relieve a lot of pressure on the passing attack, which is likely to be compromised.

As long as their o-line stays healthy we are going to be really challenged to keep them under 30. For all of the talk about their creativity, etc., it is their o-line that makes their offense so productive.

How are we, as far as injuries go? Love looked like he was in a lot of pain. May take a week or two to get him right. I like Willis as our back up QB. He makes opposing teams have to plan for two QBs. Jacobs limped off the field this past game. Is he okay? Jaire? Evan Williams? Any others we don't know about yet? Is Marshawn Lloyd ready to come back? I saw him in the locker room, in civvies, post game.. It'd be nice to know where we stand.

Lions O-Line probably best in the NFL. That's why Goff looks so good. Because honestly, the dude is an avg QB. He's not an MVP like previous MVP winners.

The Pack beat them last year on Thanksgiving when nobody thought they could....IN Detoilet

Time to do the unthinkable again.

Not gonna say anything till later in the week…….i gotta get over this one.  Whew…..I actually thought this new defensive coordinator was the gawd we all wanted….guess not.

So everything is on the DC? Even though Evan Williams got hurt (hamstring) forcing Stokes into action and Bullard out of position.

Stokes sucks BTW.....he's done. That's why Hafley was decreasing his snaps over the last 2 weeks

Totally agree.  I think you could make an argument Detroit has the best O-Line in NFL.

I think Detroit’s defense can be had, but they’re at least solid there even without Hutchinson.

It sure does look like Stokes is done. I would like to see Vallentine take a big leap. I miss Rasul.

Well they better hurry up and trade him for Miles Garrett before he has no trade value at all.

Oh man I hope JA can go in this game.  Its going to be rough containing the Lions even if he can play.

Report says Love avoided a significant groin injury, based on his MRI:

"Love went for an MRI on Monday and NFL Media reports that it shows he avoided a serious injury. He’ll get treatment this week and the belief is that he will have a chance to play in Week Nine against the Lions."

More good news on the injury front.

Really, can't get much better news on the entire group of players who got hurt Sunday.

@BillHuberNFL
Josh Jacobs, who ran over, around and through the Jaguars on Sunday but was slow off the field after his final carry, will be ready to rumble against the Lions.

They busted their ass to get to 6-2 with lots of adversity.

If you want to win the division you have to beat your division foes in your own stadium. It is that simple.

I don’t expect any of the injured players to play Sunday ( Jaire and Jordan) looking at the long term bs the short term.
