Forget that crap game today. Moving along. Hopefully with a new DC real soon.
Looks like Kittle & Jimmy Cousins will be out.

Then anyone behind them running right, left or up the middle. A draft pick, UDFA, rookie, aging vet, whatever.
That's all you need to know.
Win and all is forgotten
If nothing else, it sure looks like San Fran will come into the game down some significant pieces like Samuel, Mostert, and possibly Kittle. That said, it's entirely possible their offensive line could dominate the Pack's front 7 so badly that even a guy like Paul Ott Carruth could gain 125 yards behind it. If the Pack's front 7 is as inept on Thursday as they were today or in Tampa, the Pack will probably have their 1st two game losing streak under LaFleur.
All you Fantasy Footballers out there:

Hate to break it to you guys but Pettine isn't going anywhere until 2021.
Awww.....C'mon son.....Don't ruin our surprise dream!
Let's see what these guys are made of.
Pack open as 2.5 point favorites.
Maybe playing SF on a short week is a good thing. They can flush this turd down the toilet and move onto the next one as soon as possible.
The Vikings played like their season was on the line and it worked for them. Let’s see if the Packers play like they have something to prove. The Niners have humbled them and not that GB needs any extra motivation but with a W they may be able to redeem themselves.
They keep playing P like a fucking CB and going with garbage like Lancaster, Adams and Lowry and it won't matter how motivated they are. They will get trucked. I don't know what Winn has to show but he better be active and in the rotation at least.
Adams "play" was what really irked me. Is he hurt? This "d" sucks chunks. Smith
Duo has left town this season. The wind conditions really took away Rodgers chances to throw deep & 33 was really missed.
With AJ Dillon being announced Covid positive this morning, does this game possibly get delayed?

And watch Mullens light it up on us. Because the Packers D has a habit of allowing no names to step up under the lights. He also is from S. Miss so there is that bit of karma as well.
I guess all these years later I still haven't gotten over Brad Hoover
Dillon tests positive for Covid.
Hopefully a false positive -- he played a lot yesterday .
eish. hope it is indeed a false pos, otherwise, this game could very well get delayed.
Packers’ RB AJ Dillon is out for Thursday night’s game against the 49ers due to COVID-19 protocols, league sources tell ESPN. Dillon played Sunday and there have to be concerns about his offensive teammates.

Aaron Jones still uncertain. Jamaal Williams is lone reliable RB.
So the VIkes had a test before the game yesterday. Could it have spread and Dillon got it from then?
49ers’ QB Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to be sidelined indefinitely with his high ankle sprain, source tells ESPN. 49ers feel he needs time to rest an injury that has bothered him since Week 2. Nick Mullens took over for Garoppolo on Sunday. pic.twitter.com/ujzkCunrLm

Sources: #49ers star TE George Kittle has a small fracture in his foot that was revealed while doing further testing and will miss extended time.

Kittle is a huge loss for them. They are better off with Beathard or Mullins at QB right now. I figured Garappalo was out a month with that high ankle sprain. They rushed him back after a couple of weeks and never looked right (except for maybe the Rams game) and now he's probably going to miss a total of five or six games or maybe more this season.

@TomPelissero:
A partial list of #49ers players on injured reserve or likely headed there soon:
QB Jimmy Garoppolo
RB Raheem Mostert
RB Jeff Wilson Jr.
WR Jalen Hurd
TE George Kittle
TE Jordan Reed
DL Nick Bosa
DL Dee Ford
DL Solomon Thomas
CB Richard Sherman
Tsk.
If we can't beat the Whiners, and the defense is why, MLF should fire Poutine on the tarmac. This is as depleted a Whiners squad as we've seen since the Dumsula years.

holy shat
that is a lot of good players on IR right there.
Some might refer to this as unprecedented injuries.

AJ Dillon has Corona. He is now on the COVID-19 list.
49ers only threw 8 passes in kicking the Pack's butt in the NFC Championship game.
Now they are down Jimmy G and going with a backup QB.
And no Kittle at TE.
And no Deebo Samuel at WR.
Can't wait to see Pettine playing 2 high safety, nickel, and dime to prevent the big pass play Thursday night.
Trade 2021 1st rd for Quinnen Williams, and get any decent WR (Crowder, Marvin, anybody who has a history of catching the FFB) and they can perform better beyond this week. Won’t help on Thursday, though. Pray for the rest of the 49ers to decay like their injured teammates, I guess.
And hope C-19 doesn't tap us out.
