@WesHod:

Jaire Alexander (groin), Kenny Clark (toe) & Elgton Jenkins (knee) returned for Thursday’s padded practice.

Luke Musgrave, Christian Watson, Devonte Wyatt, Edgerrin Cooper (on bike) & Romeo Doubs were not participating. #Packers

This is my favorite locked on Packers show throughout the week. The crossover day.

That's not the only Packers catastrophe burned into our retinas over the last 30yrs.

I refuse to list them all because I choose happiness today.

I'm a glutton for punishment.

Of course, the most recent of these catastrophes are the easiest to recall for my feeble memory, and I'm sure I'll miss some. I'll try to stick with the games the Packers should've won, but got screwed, whether by their own hand or not.

In no particular order:
Brad Hoover
4th & 26
Jerry Rice fumble
The Fail Mary
Bostic

How about the playoff game against Atlanta where most everyone had the flu? I can still see Driver laying flat in the end zone after laying out to get our only touchdown of the game. They were in commercial for what felt like forever. He may have needed a stretcher.

I know.....they're 2-2....if I could keep the same record but have those 2 wins vs. Philly & Minnesota I'd do that swap in a heartbeat. They'd be way up if that was the case. Instead, they have two meaningless AFC wins

Wasn't WR Nacua out, as well?

Wyatt out may hurt. He's probably played the best of any on the DL.
Maybe this means we'll see Wooden this week.

It would be a big help if Jenkins and Ford can play.

Ditto for Valentine and JA. Even having 1 of them could really help the CB situation.

Beck is interesting. He's listed as a FB on the Packers roster, but apparently lines up at TE as well. He's even returned a couple of KOs; 1 for a TD.
He started 12 games and both playoff games for the Titans last year. Played 4 years in Denver before that.
I hope he is a good blocker, because his stats are very nondescript.

Interesting they elevated a FB/TE/HB, and not a WR with Watson and Doubs both out.

Speculation...  Doubs wasn't unhappy about targets so far, but maybe about the game plan for tomorrow?

Whatever, I hope they get things resolved. Doubs has been very consistent.

I would fully expect a run heavy offense, was thinking that even before the Doubs suspension. IIRC MLF has never lost to McVay’s Rams and the Packers run game was terrific in all those matchups, plus Elgton Jenkins was Aaron Donald’s daddy throughout.

RTFB with lots of play-action on tap tomorrow.  Maybe they can even sneak Musgrave deep which they’ve not done successfully yet this season.

Leak!!!!!

Of course McVay knows that one 🤷🏻

Packers had a lot of success with 2 back formation in the playoff win at home vs Rams. They would motion one out. If an ILBer went with him it left 5 defenders in the box and we ran between the tackles. If the ILBer didn't go with him we had a blocking advantage for the other RB on a swing pass.

All during TC and into the preseason, we would hear from both players and coaches that we're going to see an aggressive defense, the big uglies were going to pressure the opposing QB.

So far, that's happened once in 4 games.
It's about damned time we see more.

I also want to see the OL play better. They've had enough success to move the ball relatively well in these games, but rush blocking could improve and Walker needs to toughen up in pass pro.
I also want to see an end to the dick-stepping. Stupid pre-snap penalties, especially. TDs called back because of holding.
The Pack has pretty much played the same starting 5 so far, with some rotation at RG until Morgan got hurt. As a group, I feel they are under-achieving. Not terrible, but should be better.

Be really surprised if he's active.

We are presently ranked 2nd in pass blocking and have the third best yards per carry average in the league. OL is the least of our worries.

DL is the most of our worries especially now that Wyatt is out. Clark & Gary seem to be coasting now that they've been paid.
