Packers defense ranks 9th in the NFL in sacks with (21) despite Preston & ZaβDarius Smith combining for just 2 sacks thus far

That's a bit misleading. They gave up the most to the Saints in Game one, and haven't really faced a really good offense (outside of the Cardinals) since, The Bengals are decent and they caught the Chiefs at the right time.
I have to wait for the 506 maps.
Packers and Cards play 2nd games at the same time on two different networks.

They've faced and held Joe Burrow, Kyler Murray, Roethlisberger, and Patrick Mahomes in check. It's not like they faced Jared Goff and Justin Fields every week.
@SI.com: Breaking: The NFLβs review of the Packersβ COVID-19 protocols has concluded.
Green Bay has been fined $300,000 for violations of the NFL and NFL Players Association protocols, while Aaron Rodgers and Allen Lazard were each fined $14,650, per @RobDemovsky

Put either Benkert or Bortles in to hold for Crosby.

Time for a Rodgers GoFundMe page?
When do Wentz, the Eagles, Cousins, and the bandwagon franchise get fined for their weekly press conference violations?

The map comes out tomorrow, but if you're in southern AZ like me (or AZ in general), pretty certain the game will be on opposite of the Cards. Arizona should only get one game on Fox network (Cards) while CBS should have the doubleheader. I advanced through the digital guide on my cable to Sunday and it shows the Packers on TV locally,.

So the sky didnβt fall? Weird.
Well shit... someone has to go to make room for OBJ. May as well be Bortles.

Stock sale will have to cover the Packers fine.
I have a suggestion. Since the mods are sensitive to any thread devolving into a Covid discussion, can we simply refer to the Rodgers issue the same way we refer to the Civil War down here and call it, βThe recent unpleasantness.β?
FYI, today is the last day Bakh can be activated off PUP. MLF said it's not likely he will not be activated. So I'd assume it'll happen.
Does he play Sunday?
Boy. Good question. We need him in December and January more than now. Let him get sharp and confident in the knee a couple more weeks.
@ammo posted:Has Benkert cleared the Covid list yet>? Will Bortles be released if Rodgers is cleared for Sunday>?
Benkert, doesn't matter. He's a PS guy. But his 10 days ends a couple days before Rodgers.
Bortles is also a PS guy that was elevated for the game. He will stay there until they are sure they are in the clear.

Can I just kick him in the balls and ask him to pass it along to Pops?

LOL, I wouldn't recommend it.
He's been a daily workout guy since the age of 15.
I prefer the 20 oz curls he's doing in that picture
Susak Island, Croatia.
Pizza, beer & ice cream.

So his balls should hold up pretty well!
From todayβs practice:
@RobDemovsky: Kenny Clark was back after leaving Sundayβs game with a back injury.
Eric Stokes, who injured his knee in pregame warmups, went thru stretch but didnβt come outside with the DBs.
Only other DNP was Dominique Dafney.
Kingsley Keke (concussion) returned.
Also, Jaire Alexander was spotted talking with ZaβDarius Smith inside during stretch. First Jaire sighting since his injury.
The Packers have officially activated star LT David Bakhtiari off of the PUP list, making him eligible to play Sunday.

Packers are at 16 max on practice squad. If Benkert goes back on somebody has to go. Also they are at 52 on the active. AR would make 53. Yiadom is also able to come off Covid last Friday. And if they sign OBJ a couple of guys will be leaving.
Practice squad is fluid. Players come and go.
Benkert's spot there is safe. After they activate Rodgers from the COVID reserve list they cut Bortles and he can go back to the gold course.
OBJ is irrelevant for now. There's a few guys on every NFL roster that are hanging by a thread week to week. The practice squad is even more volatile.

So the price just doubled for the sledding hill.
Damnit!
Or corporate naming rights will be announced soon. Cologuard Sledding Hill.
Packers coverage in red.
β¦unless the early game goes to OT. Then, fuck you.
Good chance that Cleveland vs NE will be a OT barn burner. I got the Jets/ Bills

SUNDAY: Cloudy and blustery. Snow showers, mixed with light rain. HIGH: 39 LOW: 25
We continue to watch for an βAlberta Clipperβ to move across the region Saturday night and into Sunday. While thereβs potential for some very light snow accumulation, thereβs still some questions that need to be answered before that disturbance arrives... Keep informed!
Sounds like true GB weather Sunday.

Welp, the only way to get into football shape is to play, no?
Matt LaFleur on list of items David Bakhtiari needs to do before playing next: String together back to back days, get into football shape, simulate a drive. He isn't saying whether Bakhtiari will play Sunday vs. Seahawks.
