Today’s injury report. MLF has said Bakhtiari would have to be full go in consecutive practices before he’d get back on the field. This suggests he might not be there yet.

So he’s playing unless he has breathing issues during the ramp up.

Lets recap what being unvaccinated cost the team.   For the sake of argument, we will assume he would not have gotten it even though we all know that it’s still possible.

1 game missed

300k

Can we all agree to calm down now?

This sounds way more complicated then it needs to be...

Who knew Mo Drayton was so analytical and technical?

Glad to hear it.  Now get it fucking fixed. You aren’t solving math equations or building a space shuttle.  It’s football.

By the way, Sonic is always hiring

I like our wide receiver room as it is.

Maybe the Rams will find they have too many players after signing OBJr and decide to release Cooper Kupp. I'd rather have Kupp, right now, than OBJr.

If Drayton teaches this the same way he describes it, no wonder things are going wrong. He's made it seem like one of the most difficult things to accomplish in sports. Somehow virtually every other NFL team, and most college teams, can accomplish this without the same issues.

Maybe it's not the case that he's coaching with the same style as he's speaking to the press, but, as a player, if you get so bogged down in the details of what can go wrong, you tighten up and make things more likely to go wrong.

I also really don't like the analogy about "dying a slow death." That puts it into people's minds that you are eventually going to fail. You want the opposition to think that after a few times of really selling out to block a kick and not getting close that's it's just not worth it to do so (either effort-wise or to protect against the small risk of a fake). They'll start to back off just a little bit and take the pressure off every single attempt. Instead, what he's conveyed to opposing coaches and players is that he knows they are coming closer and closer to blocking each kick.

@mattschneidman
Packers DB coach Jerry Gray on CB Rasul Douglas, who has played quite well the last couple games: “He’s in here at 7:30 at night still watching film, where guys are gone, and obviously he must be a single guy.”

Or married longer than two years.

It’s good to see Stokes practicing. Our DB’s will be key to this game. I hope that Love doesn’t have to start. This game will not be like the last. Watching the Baltimore/Miami matchup reminded me that a fearless, yet disguised, pass rush can be lethal. That’s what happened to Love against the Chiefs. I don’t think the Seahawks can pull that off against the Packers. Running the ball sets up play action. And effective passing sets up the run. The Packers would like to have that balance. But disguised defenses can negate that. Rodgers can diagnose it better than Love yet even he can be fooled. I don’t see the Seahawks as a disguised type defense. They will try and out score you with a superior pass game esp. with Wilson moving out of the pocket. This game will depend on the quality of the play from our secondary. They need to plaster the receivers five seconds or more. That’s a tough challenge for guys who were probably just backups at the beginning of the season.

@TomSilverstein: #Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that LT David Bakhtiari will be doubtful for Sunday, but he said he did not have a setback. He said it's all part of the process of his return from ACL surgery.

LaFleur said he told Jordan Love he has to be ready because anything could happen between now and Sunday. They still have to wait until Saturday for Rodgers to be cleared to play Sunday.

LaFleur said CB Eric Stokes (knee) will be listed as questionable and they will see how he feels Sunday.

Don’t know if it’s true or not, but I heard AR instinctively called a TO from his Zoom call because the play wasn’t called in quick enough. It’s the innerwebs and all, so take it with a grain of sand.

As expected.

He tested negative?

Packers' QB Aaron Rodgers has remained asymptomatic from COVID-19 and has met the NFL/NFLPA return-to-play protocols, per sources. All that is left now is for the Packers to officially activate him by 4 pm ET today. Per Adam Schefter.

Per Ryan Wood.

Can confirm Aaron Rodgers is on track to be activated from COVID-19/reserve list and play tomorrow vs. Seahawks. #Packers have until 3 pm today to activate him, but that remains the expectation.

You ever get to Lambeau and see a row of dudes who look just like that squeezed onto the metal bleachers and know there’s no way you’re  sitting in your assigned seat?
