Packers are still playing meaningful games with 2 games left and have an opportunity to keep it going against the shit-stained-toilet-Vikings team and screw with their playoff positioning while improving their own chances. It's not ideal, but I prefer to look at this as a plus rather than focus on their obvious deficiencies. We have all off season to do that.

I saw somewhere that we will be sporting some new helmet style. Something that looks like a cross between cheddar and swiss cheese look. I wonder if that is just a gag or if it is true. Anyone hear anything about it? It looked kind of cool. Kind of a cheesehead look.

Yup...enjoy it while it lasts. How many seasons have we been the #1 seed and shit the bed? You just never know when lightning is going to strike.

As bad as the team has been, they could have quit long ago and didn't.

I've read many times in many threads over the years, that an opponent in an upcoming game would be treating that as their Superb Owl.
Well, that's exactly what I want the Packers to do this week.
Let the playoff cookie crumble as it may, just beat the Vikings.

Paul Allen and Co. are in full voice this morning on KFAN complaining about being underdogs, and spending most of their time making fun of names on the defense they can't pronounce, players they've never heard of, all the "good" teams we beat in this streak, Jaire Alexander, and how they get to start our season with despair and end it with a dagger.

If nothing else, I want to absolutely crush them this weekend just because of him.

The most likely viking outcome  will be this…..after winning 11 one score games they will lose this week and next week and the first playoff game by one score.

And one will be by a wide left miss.

PA is a total homer and he plays the part well but I do wonder why he’s so worried about the Packers?   Regardless of the game this week, Antoine Winfield, Paul Krause, Robert Griffith, and Joey Browner aren’t walking through that door and good luck fielding a terrible defense going forward.

One semi-meaningless stat that I personally found interesting, the 4 worst defenses in the NFL in terms of yards per play allowed are the 4 NFC North teams.  Lions and Bears are worst, and Vikings and Packers are 3rd and 4th worst respectively.

I guess it shows that every defense in the NFC North sucks, but maybe the Packers’ D sucks the least out of those 4 teams?  😀

I like that scenario.  I also would LOVE a repeat of the Giants game in 2001.  41-0!

Oh hell who am I kidding.  I don't care when they lose its 41-0 or 3-0 as long as that freaking team chokes somehow I am happy.

My cold black heart when it comes to my hatred of the Spermheads only wants misery for that team and its fans.

I think I will watch TV shows, listen to sports talk radio, and click on links that bait me into it.

This way I can complain about what people are saying.  And then continue to click on such links.

Does anyone have a meme or a photo denigrating the Vikings that I can send to my father-in-law?  He just sent me one denigrating the Packers, so I want to return the favor.  He's coming over to watch the game.  I think I should make him sit on the floor and drink Milwaukee's Best.

I cannot stand that homer. I do like the common man show and Barreiro

Sounds like you have been reading articles about Brittney Griner's release again.

The Eagles, Bucs, 49ers and Washington are only allowing about 300 yards per game and about 20 PPG.  SF is outstanding at about 15PPG allowed.   So those teams have some margin for error.

Dallas is weird because their defensive rankings are solid, but I question if they are really that good because they generate a ton of turnovers.

GB and the NYG aren’t great on either side of the ball, but they are good enough to beat most teams if they play clean (no turnovers or limited penalties).  Plus they can run the ball and control clock.

Minnesota, Detroit, and Seattle will need a lot of help and hope their offense can bail them out.  Their defenses are awful.  The playoffs are littered with plenty of high flying offenses that can’t stop their opposition and that’s not a good recipe for success.

Wait.

She got released?

I hope we didn’t give up too much to get her back.🇺🇸

It was the equivalent of the Herschel Walker trade. The Russians are totally winning 3 Suoer Bowls this decade.

Does Jaire follow Jefferson in this game? We know what he said after the opener.

And we know what Barry & MLF said .... to do so changes everyone else's responsibilities, which they did not seem inclined to do.

13 seconds.

Dean Lowry probably out for the rest of the season. He gets a lot of stick on the board but I’ve always thought he contributes well. Not too far fetched to think he may have played his last snap as a Packer.

That and other moves cited here, from packers.com:

The Green Bay Packers have placed DL Dean Lowry on injured reserve, signed WR Bo Melton to the active roster from the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad, and released LB Tipa Galeai (tee-puh nah-lee-eye) from injured reserve. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Tuesday.

Lowry has played in 101 consecutive regular-season games, including all 15 contests with 12 starts this season. He is No. 2 on the defensive line with 43 tackles (23 solo).

Melton (5-11, 189) was originally selected by the Seahawks in the seventh round (No. 229 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Rutgers University. He has spent the entire regular season on Seattle's practice squad. He finished his college career ranked No. 3 in program history with 56 games played, No. 6 with 164 receptions, tied for No. 8 with five 100-yard receiving games and No. 10 with 2,011 receiving yards. In his final season, Melton was selected All-Big Ten by Pro Football Focus (third team) and Phil Steele's College Football (fourth team). He will wear No. 80 for the Packers.

LOL.  He's from Iowa and could have picked a number of teams to be a fan of.  He chose the Vikings. Well, much respect - he's a lifelong fan at least.
