IMO, he's already surpassed MVS's potential in the brief time he's been here. He's a clear multi-route threat, something MVS was not. MVS was largely a one trick pony who couldn't run intermediate or curl type routes. Watson is also a big threat out of the backfield on end arounds/reverses etc.

MVS last year: 25/55, 430 yds, 3 TDs

Watson this year: 35/55, 496 yds, 7 TDs,  plus 68 yds rushing, 2 TDs

Watson already an upgrade, even as a relatively raw rookie.

Disappointing that the bye week wasn't a bigger benefit for the guys who are nicked up.
I think Nixon was nursing his groin injury before the bye.
Ditton for Jones with an ankle.

But it's that time of year where guys have to do the best they can, hurt or not.

Packers will have their preferred starting OL on Sunday:

Jaire and Jefferson have pretty much made it clear it’s 1-1 tomorrow. I’ve seen Cousin’s cooking. Stay out the way Barry. Let this one play out.

Let it be.  Jaire put it out there.  Hope we get a good pass rush to help him out.

Finally. Mason's had a hell of a career here, but he simply can't kick off anymore.

The Green Bay Packers will elevate kicker Ramiz Ahmed to the gameday roster for Sunday’s showdown vs. the Minnesota Vikings.

The Packers will use Ahmed’s strong leg on kickoffs as a way to help combat explosive Vikings returner Kene Nwangwu, who ranks No. 2 in NFL with a 26.0-yard average. In his second year in the league, he’s got three career touchdowns, including a 97-yard touchdown this season against New England. With 4.32 speed in the 40, Nwangwu trails only Green Bay’s Keisean Nixon in average and with five returns of 30-plus yards.

That's lame as fuck..

No Fun League

Kid’s a decent player. Hope GB can get him back

@AaronWilson_NFL:  #Falcons signing safety Micah Abernathy off #Packers practice squad, per a league source.

Sucks as they're poaching him for next year and I think he's a player, maybe not a star but useful at least as depth.

Is Crosby going to lose his consecutive starts? How about putting both kickers out there at the same time so they don't know if we're kicking long or short? Plus, Crosby can tackle.

Love Crosby and his ability on FG's and especially his willingness to make tackles when needed, but he's killing us and our fledgling SP with those kickoffs.

I don't why he would. Sometimes the other team kicks first.  He should only lose it if Ahmed kicks a FG or PAT before Mason does.

Crosby's streak is consecutive games played not games started. I don't think playing special teams counts as a start. Though I believe if the Bears, during the Rex Grossman years, would have made the intelligent strategic move of punting on their first offensive play of the game then it would counted as a start for the punt unit.
