Dang...I want to see #12 light up that secondary...This may play out well for MN and their running game......
@Fandame posted:I hate those predictions. Every time we think we are going to stomp a team, it turns into a nail-biter, and as usual, this is one of the two annual Superb Owls for the Vikings. Let's just win this, and I don't care how ugly the win is.
I was going to say the same. Bunch of seasonal workers at CB but....feels like a trap.
@Grave Digger posted:Nick was a mixed bag. He was better in run defense, but he wasn’t a big pass rush threat generally. King has actually improved, especially this year, and seems to be on a trajectory toward being a top CB.
I would call King a mixed bag too. He had trouble with quicker slot type receivers/routes in college and still has that problem on sundays. He is best on the boundary manning up vs a big long strider. Also benefits from Jaire being on the field. I don't see a #1 CB unless he stays healthy and transforms into Al Harris.
Counter the wind, if it's even an issue at field level, with pre-snap motion and shorter routes. YAC is king.
Of course, MiLF and AR will probably go PA on the 1st play for a deep shot.
What wind? This isn’t the Meadowlands.
It’s normally OK within Lambeau Field as it’s enclosed. Kickers perhaps, but I wouldn’t worry about it
Didn’t Mason say a few years ago that the new Jumbotron changed the swirl in the stadium and it’s a little more difficult or something. I’m too lazy to look up the quote.
It's pretty weird. You can be sitting there with the wind right in your face and you look up and the flag is flying in the opposite direction.

I love what Kevin King brings to the game. His length and his ability to cover in man-to-man, are great assets to have. His injuries, and constant ones, it seems, are keeping him off the playing field. That doesn't bode well for him being in GB, next season. I hope he can recover from his injuries and light up our secondary. I hate to keep drafting DBs when we need ILBs, DL and a solid WR to compete with Lazard for the #2 WR spot on this team.
With Jones out, here’s to hoping we see AJ Dillon contribute more than he did last week. To be fair to him, on most of his runs there wasn’t much room, but he really wasn’t impressive at all vs. the #32 ranked run defense. I hope we see a breakout game for him vs the Vikes.
Given the performance of Josh Jackson and likelihood of Kevin King returning I’d say drafting a corner early seems pretty likely. Even if he returns (King) they should look at another CB.
New team name: Green Bay Draft a Corner Every First Round.
You act like Terrell Buckley was a bust.
The #Packers elevated S Henry Black from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday and signed WR Seth Roberts to the practice squad.

Appears Crosby is good to go.
At least Black won't sneak up on anyone this week.
@packerboi posted:Tough to pay him a starting caliber salary when you can't stay on the field. This goes back to his college days. On the plus side, unless there's an idiot owner who grossly overpays, the Packers could make him a pretty average offer in 2021 and he may have no choice but to accept it.
I wouldn’t pay him
If the game were played at night Black would be an invisible player? That is smart, not racist - although I get the context.

Hah!!
Most of the Country will see the Packers /Queenies. Me being in Bills country, I get the Rams and Dolphins!
My insider info tells me that Mason is a go for today.

Me too! Could not believe it when I went to distribution map on Wednesday ! I've had good luck finding streams this year and hope to again today.

Pad level?
Here in Ohio, we get Raiders - Browns on Fox and not the Packers. I thought Fox only covered NFC teams but I guess not.

Where I’m going to be there will be no internets. Rusty has bought a house and we are going to be painting today. Was hoping to be able to record it at home. Going to try to listen to WTMJ
Wait.
Rusty?
What am I missing?
Packiderm is Rusty's Pa-skin.
Big dummy.
I thought Rusty was still in that Thai prison.
I had a dream (for real). The score on the TV said 60-7 Packers. The announcer was saying the Packers needed to increase their number of first downs. And an ugly woman with a big smile kept appearing from around corners.
I think this means GB will win. People will still find things to nit pick about. Never mind there won't be a lot of first downs when you are scoring a lot. And I have no idea what the ugly woman was about - except that it happened several times in the dream.

We bribed the guards with some hot kielbasa’s and sprung him!

Is that the prison where they put people who make insulting statements using word play?
The list of injured players makes me nervous as does the windy conditions. Cook is active Jones is not. Not having Bak is not good.
