Everybody healthy for Bores except Cutler and Briggs. Just our luck we catch these guys at their matrix.
Were you not counting Henry Melton, Nate Collins and DJ Williams??
Those are two pretty big exceptions.

Hmmm, I was expecting this. Always sticking up for your girlfriend.

James Jones back at practice again this morning but Shields sat out.... Hope it's nothing more than an illness. Looking like Jones might go Monday night.
That's not good. The Bears have those two tall WRs.
Still have McCown throwing them the ball though
Wonder if JJ plays Monday? Looking more promising he will.
Maybin is only 25? Seems like he's been sucking in the NFL for a long time.

I read that JJ considered himself 50/50 to play. I'd be surprised if he did.
Can see him being dressed but not necessarily seeing the field.
(I think it was) Schefter this morning said J.Jones is likely to play MNF.
Bears sign Jay Ratliff, the former cryboys malcontent. More proof the TBSS.
Per WSSP this am, who had Tyler Dunne from JSO on the radio he said James Jones was as full a participant as he could see watching JJ on Friday. He was making full cuts, running at full speed, catching AR passes etc. The key would be how he felt on Saturday to see if he had any swelling that would keep him out of practice. On Saturday, he did practice.
So while not guaranteeing he'd play, Dunne seemed to think there's a pretty good chance he will.
Packers believe WR James Jones, listed as questionable with a knee injury, is likely to play Monday night vs. the Bears.
Thanks, Shoeless, for the trip down memory lane! Marcol's game-winner was priceless -- as were his glasses!
Has there ever been a team to fall so far so fast with many of the same players, coaches, etc., as Atlanta? From the NFC championship game to 2-6. Ouch.
I would like to think the Packers going into their house and kicking their ass in the 2010 playoffs had something to do with their nose dive. They never really recovered from that.
No leap by "Chet that Jet"?????

They were in the NFCC game last year.
It is their anti-ROTTT style that dooms them.
Trading way up for Julio Jones, signing old, higher priced RB in Steven Jackson....
Thanks for posting that. I've wanted to see that play for years. Incredible play to watch, but I'm going to enjoy seeing the Pack win the game by 30 points tonight a whole lot more.

Yep, the 1999 Atlanta Falcons. 14-2 and a Super Bowl appearance in 1998, 5-11 in 1999.
Joe.....
Beautiful clip....for one shining moment in Packer history, Chester Marcol looked like Paul Hornung.
"...I'm not gonna cry about it" - Mike Dicka.
Translation - waaaaah waaaaaah waaaaaaah I'll just make them put an asterisk next to this game in our record book.
Daable Take:

I was at that game, on the visitors sideline, about the 32 yard line, 18 rows up. Had a clear view of it. The look on Marcol's face was priceless as the ball came back to him, then a split second of decision making and he was off to the races. Lambeau was really rocking and rolling after that. What a joyus moment.
Lets take some bear pelts tonight and send those sorry suckers home with a nice loss.
Brilliant! Loved the glasses on Marcol too.
All one has to do to see how far the players have advanced is to look at the size of the offensive linemen in that clip. Maybe 250 lbs.?
I had never looked at the Replay game this closely and now I wonder why there's so much controversy here in bear land. According to the rules at the time, (Since changed, I believe) foot placement determined if he was behind the LOS when he released the pass. Since the ball was entirely past the 20 yard line at the snap and Majik's toe just touched the 20 at release, the judgement is pretty obvious.
The rule is the same now as it was then. If even just the edge of your heel is on or behind the LOS, it's a legal pass. Bears fans are just crybabies. Contrary to what they say when crying about the play, the location of the ball has absolutely no bearing on the play.
That Marcol play is hilarious. That was some Bears luck the way that ball just placed itself right into Chet's belly. Even the security guy was mobbing him in the endzone.

Interview with MM coming up on Fox Sports 1

slippery slope, or should we say icy.
Thank you JJSD !
Nice pre-game video tour to set the tone for this evening....
I remember looking at the game clock after Shields INT to seal a trip to the Super Bowl....
It was stopped at exactly :37 ....by number 37
