Hey Jaymo, It's only for kids 7-14 but maybe Corduroy can sneak in based on his 1 year of D1 football.

He won't get better coaching until next years kid's camp. Corduroy might even find a decent QB to mention to the clowns back at the rodeo!

In what was essentially his rookie season, Ponder was 28 for 53 with 4 TDs against the packlers last year with Michael Jenkins as his #1 WR. That's pretty embarrassing......for the packlers.

LOL, I love how Viqueef fans spend so much time and effort touting the passing percentage of Mr Dink and Dunk. Ooooffff, he averaged 2 touchdowns per game against the Packers? That must be some kind of record.

28 for 53. An unheard of 52%. Canton beckons.
Yeah, shocking that he didn't put up hall of fame numbers in his first year with a training camp. He beat the packlers with those pathetic numbers. I'm sure he'll regress this year with Jennings/Patterson/Wright/Simpson/Rudolph....it's inevitable.
But, but that's better than Terry Bradshaw, Sid Luckman, Don Meredith, Joe Namath, Joe Kapp, George Blanda and a bunch of other guys before the WCO and when DBs were allowed to do invasive things to receivers after the snap.

Of course it's also lower than Kyle Boller, Mark Sanchez, Joey Harrington, Charlie batch, Vince Young, Tommy Maddox, JP Losman and Tavares Jackson. Smiler
Like I said, Herschel, I fully expect him to regress now that he might have a couple if competent receivers. I bet you guys were ready to cut arodge considering how brutal he looked in any action he got in his first two years....am I right?

Er, nope still not scared. Want to scare Packers fans just say two words. No, not Christian Ponder. Try ADRIAN PETERSON!!!! He beat us, not that little noodle armed BEAST you have under center.

What's the matter it's like you're not even trying anymore.

The problem with just thinking a couple of receivers will hmake such a difference is that a: Patterson is Troy Williamson with a vertical and is only a rookie and b: only if Jennings stays healthy (a pretty big if, but a very good addition if he does) have they added anything. That's rolling a lot of dice and hoping none come up ones.

If you want to say Rodgers has had good receivers then there's the fact Favre made a 1000 yard receiver out of Bill Schroeder, a guy less talented than Jenkins and Aromashadu. Good receivers help, no doubt, but good QBs make even garbage look serviceable.

Ponder isn't a total waste (yet, anyway), but he's also not an elite arm talent either.

Love to see Ponder with Taco Wallace.

Not sure I've stated that he is. I believe he threw 3 TDs against the packlers the last regular season game of last year? He has better weapons this year, and yes, they must stay healthy. Pretty sure you can say that about any team. Or would you expect the packlers to make a playoff push with Graham Harrell under center? Doubt it.

Ponder needs to see some significant improvement this year, or the Vikings will start to look elsewhere. And although not great, they have a serviceable veteran behind Ponder so they won't have to turn to Joe Webb. Probably affords them the opportunity to give Ponder a little shorter leash.

Time will tell.

Just imagine if he hadn't thrown a Brett Favre like pick in the first game? The Vikings probably would have swept the regular season.

You can continue to exaggerate like the dummy you appear to be. Nobody thinks he's going to come out and be a Pro Bowl QB this year. He just needs to improve. If he does, the Vikings will be a better team. If he doesn't, he'll be gone.

Pretty simple.

Just imagine if your IQ exceeded 72 points. You would be doing something better with your time than trolling other teams BBs.

The Vikings history is loaded with "what if's" isn't it. But "If he hadn't thrown a pick the Vikings probably would have swept the regular season" is monumentally weak.

He completed 12 freakin' passes that day. Only completed 48% of the ones he threw. His QB rating was 41.1. He sucked that entire game, not for one pass. AP was the only reason that game was close.

If AP get's 300 yards instead of only the 210 he finished with...
If AP lined up in the shotgun and took every snap....
If Ponder doesn't start that game....

All standard issue Viking "what if's" for how they could have won, but better than pinning it on a crappy QB that spent 60 full minutes doing absolutely nothing to help his team.
So if Ponder plays well then the Vikings offense will be good, but if Ponder doesn't do well then they might find a new QB?

Earth shattering analysis people. I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear the next stroke of brilliance. I'm speculating that if the Vikings are playing at home they will wear their purple jerseys, but if they're on the road they will wear white (no offense Goalline) jerseys. Can I get your thoughts on that Jay?

Henry is a bore. Do you have a crush on him? On me? Are you jealous that Henry devotes so much time to Jaymo?

I like this one.

Ingredients:

Servings:
2
Units: US | Metric
1 large avocado, scooped out of shell and mashed
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon salsa
1 garlic clove, pressed
1 tablespoon sweet onion, finely diced
1 teaspoon cilantro (note, some people find it vile) or 1 teaspoon parsley (note, some people find it vile)
1 tablespoon tomato, finely diced
2 teaspoons black olives, minced
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice or 1 teaspoon lime juice or 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
salt, use less if you'll refrigerate (you shouldn't need much)
Directions:

1 Cut the avocado in half, scoop out the flesh with a spoon; mash 3/4 of it well and chop the remaining 1/4 coarsely (I do this with the spoon, in the avocado shell, before scooping the last bit out).

2 Mix it into the mashed portion.

3 Mix all remaining ingredients together.

4 Serve immediately, or cover with plastic wrap, pressing wrap firmly to surface of guacamole (or it will turn color due to oxidation) and refrigerate up to 4 hours before serving.
