This reminds me of the LeBron declaration โnot 1, not 2, not 3โ, etc
I'll have what he has....
12-3-1 - I'll take it!

As would I. If the defense can finally get its act together and AR stays upright it wouldn't be that far fetched.
Cleanup in aisle 4
As long as 2 of those looses are not against the purple that would be great.
12 wins should get HFA, been looking for that for a while now.
I would take 10 loses against the Queens if we won the Super Bowl. Not concerned about that loser franchise. NEXT!
Exactly. No Ph.Ds in Theoretical Winning in the Packers organization.
I'm excited about the Defense, but also a little worried that it is a whole new system and its the first year in it...what do ya think?
I'm also more than a little worried about the defense.

JFK, Dom Capers is gone, the defense would be better by accident
We thought it was going to get better when they got rid of AJ Hawk, yet the defense kept right on sucking.

Hawk was a small part of a much bigger problem. Weโll find out soon if Compers was the real problem. For the first preseason in ten years Iโm feeling good about the defense.
The defense should be strong from the get go because no one will know what to expect. And for the record, the Vikings will go 6-6.
Who the hell is minding the store and allowing these skid marks to spread?
The team bus could crash, knocking the all the defensive starters out for the season, and the unit would still be infinitely better because Dam Compers is gone.
There are two things I'm looking forward to seeing in week one. The return of AR-12 (with his freshly-signed red zone weapon at tight end), and no more keystone cop blown assignments in the secondary.
JJ has us undefeated and Romo has us in the SB. It is going to be a good year if no one gets hurt. I just wish it was AR making the prediction - at least his comes true.

They have actually been worse without Hawk.
maybe he was not the problem?
I mean, they did win a SB with him at MLB.
He was not as bad as a lot of folks(myself included) say he was.

Does this mean the tie the other 4 games?
what am I missing here? I feel like there is some sort of a 6-6 joke here that I am not following...

He was that bad his final three years.
There was an online survey on one of the Minnesota news outlets a couple of seasons ago to predict the Vikings' record, and it went up to 12-0.
As for Hawk, I think he slowed down considerably from the SB season on. He was also badly out of place on the fake FG everybody knew was coming in the NFCCG in Seattle.
When you have (a good) Raji, Pickett, Jenkins, (a young) Clay, Collins, Bishop, Woodson, Tramon and Shields on defense, a mannequin could line up in Hawk's spot.
Richardson could/should have a huge impact. He makes the whole line better, which makes the OLBs better too.
So youโre saying Gute should bring Hawk back?

Hawk was a guy with middle-round talent whose career was burdened by being the #5 overall pick.

The Vikings were suspended as a team for the other 4 games for not winning a SB in almost 60 years.

Nice purple ride. Is this replacing the Love Boat this summer?

I am on that until the proves otherwise I am always worried about the defense. I like to think that Pettine is going to bring that "attitude" to the defense but until I see it on the field I will be very cautiously optimistic. Then of course is the injury factor they Packers have to be due for a healthy year right?
I am not a believer of the old trope "they can't get any worse", when it comes to the NFL and our D. Not that I think they won't be better, at least certainly by November. But things can always get worse in the NFL. Ask Cleveland.

The video is just an visual image of the Vikings - a franchise that is out of control. Most of us don't need a picture to see that.
Think Pete Prisco's prediction is much more realistic.
I like the eventual outcome, but he sure doesn't seem to think the defense will stop many people.
Kind of a weird pick in the loss to the Redskins but there will be one game like that. Had to laugh at him picking Philly to beat the Vikings in the playoffs again.
Letdown the week after beating MIN. I notice he doesn't have the universal love for the 49ers as a sleeper pick.
I don't see GB with #1 seed. In fact I still see MIN taking the division after a fast start while our D gets settled in. Anything can happen in the post season.

Could be 2010 all over again.
If this prediction is correct, it'll be a first for Pete. Pete's been doing this act for a long time. Crazy that anyone pays him for his services.
