Bucks up 13-12 early. Giannis has 10 halfway through first.

Bucks defense getting eaten alive again. Now down 18-15. A lot of penetration and layups.
Bucks offense playing well, but they have to since their defense gives up layup after layup.
Bucks up 37-25.
The Knicks must have 8 layups.
Bucks 8 for 11 from three but only lead by 6.
Giannis picks up his 3rd foul on an idiotic play. He'll have to sit the last 5 minutes of the second quarter.
Randall has 17 points and hasn't missed a shot yet.
Giannis plays D like an ADD kindergartener who needs Prozac. No need to reach in, etc. He needs to remember he's 6'11".
Dame for 3!
Dame TIme is fun
Bucks with more careless passes and no defense. They've scored 75 but have needed to shoot 12 for 17 from three, which is not sustainable.
The Knicks are 3 for 9 from three and have 72 points. They've mostly scored on layups and are 17 for 18 from the line.
Not a whole lot of defense going on for either team. Knicks with a lot more FT attempts.
Hey Boss, I heard today the over/under was 229.5. Did you bet the over?
They might hit that by the end of the 3rd quarter.
I know this may sound heretical, but Giannis really isnât a great one-on-one defender IMO. Help defender, heâs great. But he can get worked.
Bucks go on a huge run to start the 3rd (16-6). Often, it's the other team that goes on the run. Not tonight. Lead by 13.
Middleton in bounds alley oop to Giannis!!

He's as good a one on one defender as a 7 footer can be. He can be worked by short, quick guards, but he's great on guys like Jimmy Butler.
Giannis starting to clank a lot of FTs tonight. One of those momentum filling 0 for 2 trips just now.
The Bucks must get beat for layups after made baskets more than any other team in the NBA
Looked like a charge on Randall, to me.
Beauchamp for 3!
Bad call on the deflection.
Bucks really step up the defensive intensity (before crunch time) and lead by 16 after three. Now put the hammer down to start the 4th.
Terrible start to the 4th. Wide open Knick 3 on a second chance. Giannis misses a layup. Knicks get a layup. Portis misses a 3. Knicks layup off a turnover. Knicks go 7-0 in 99 seconds.
Bucks let it get back to a closer game really quickly
7-0 run by the Knicks to start the 4th quarter
Most of the run is because Portis can keep Hartenstine off the boards.
Griffin calls timeout, brings back in Lopez for Portis, and the Bucks go on a 5-0 run.
Bucks go up 20 with 6:42 left.
After giving up 72 in the first half Bucks have held the Knicks to 33pts in the 2nd half with about 6 minutes to go. Nice effort on D.
It's raining buckets for the Bucks! Up 20, now!
146-122 Bucks win...
Knicks have one of the better defensive teams in the league and Milwaukee took them apart tonight.
The Bucks just seemed a step ahead New York and they played hard especially in the second half.
There are a lot of wide open 3s available for guys like Beasley. If they hit them, but the Bucks put up large numbers of points like tonight (146). If they don't hit them, they still score 125. If they play any defense they can blitz teams like they did tonight.
23 of 38 (60.5%) from 3.
Holy shit. ðģ

Now you know why I wanted Dame so friggin bad - they're just getting started
Amazing to me that people who cover basketball would hate basketball enough to think this way https://t.co/EEi43Lub0l

A key point in this game was last 2 minutes of the 2Q. Lillard put up 13 points and you could just see how that deflated a Knicks team that played really well in the first half.
If you look at the stat line, the Knicks had 16 more FTs and were +10 in the paint yet still got boat raced.
The fact of the matter is if Giannis and Dame go for 60+ shooting and scoring at an efficient rate and a guy like Beasley shoots 50%+ from 3 you arenât going to beat this team. I mean, Lopez did nothing offensively and itâs not like Middleton and Portis had great games either.
I still think they could use another defensive minded player more than they need a Cam Payne or Bobby Portis or Pat Cs dozen points a game. Beasley doesnât play much defense either but he at least makes an effort and has proven he can score in bunches. Lopez had an off game but heâs been fantastic and arguably their third best scoring option this year.
