The Packer D shows up big, with Shields and Hyde getting picks early and Williams controlling Megatron as if his contract depended on it. Boykin gets over 100 yards, Nelson has two TDs, Eddie cements the Offensive Rookie of the Year before a large audience. Pack 38, Lions 24.

I predict I will hurt anti-worst's feelings when he wets the thread.

Ummmm.
The Packers will make antiworst cry?

Thanks for letting me live rent free in your head BK.
I thought it was my sinuses acting up.....I had a lot of pussy discharge.
You know what would clear that up? A fistful of Vicks.
I had a lot of pussy discharge.
Why doesn't that surprise me? Have a good one.
For those scoring at home....AW 1, BK 0

I'll forfeit Pikes. This is a football forum.

I'm playing for the tie.
By the way, what are you doing here anyway anti-worst---are the Packers losing tonight?
My faith in Dom and crew is nonexistent. If they couldn't rise to the occasion against a bad Viking team at home in a game they really needed to win I have no reason to believe it'll happen Thursday.
Packers 24
Lions 38
When the Lions have both Bush & Johnson in the lineup have consistently gained 400+ yards of total offense. Their problem has been multi-turnover games. This has not been a strength of our defense and as a result we may need 35+ points to win this one. Can we really expect that if AR doesn't play?
lions 31 packers 10-after playing five quarters on Sunday, the Packers have nothing left to give. The defense acted defeated at times on Sunday against a 2 and 8 Viking team. They appear to have quit on Capers. I doubt they even show up for this game.
Trap Game!
The Packer D shows up big,
Nothing major.... Just thought I'd pass that along.
Flynn will likely be starting. I see the Packers scoring maybe 27-28 points.
The problem is the defense. Unless the defense can create some turnovers and maybe score a touchdown, I don't see the Packers winning. The way the defense has been playing, I see the lions putting up between 35 and 42 points.
Vikes beat the Bears and GB beats the Lions 27-24, after a long rest Rodgers returns against the Falcons in GB and they climb to 7-5-1 after a 30-17 win.
Flynn will move the ball, dinking and dunking, mixing it up with Lacy. This should help eat up some clock keeping the Lions O on the bench a little longer. Still, I see no help for this defense. Lions 34 Packers 24.
I don't really want to get into a pissing match with you PackOly, but that last paragraph is pure BS and you know it. You lurk in the game threads and POUNCE whenever someone even suggests something that isn't all butterflies and kisses. I understand getting pissed off at the people who only show up when the Packers are losing, but I would bet they aren't even Packer fans to begin with.
But you like to lump everyone into the same pile and start with the "whiner", "piss pants", etc. sophomoric name calling if someone even questions a play call. To be honest, you're the worst kind of fan. You seem to want to accept anything that is in front of you and expect others to do as well, almost like Cubs fans. I prefer fans that demand the best. Fans of a team are like family...we can denounce them, but don't let fans of other teams do it.
So now you're now proclaiming that the games really don't matter, that you have a happy life, and question other people's "mental state of happiness"? Jesus Christ, PackOly, you started a goddamned THREAD on it! https://packers.timesfour.com/t...elp-blair-understand
Your obsession isn't with the Packers...your obsessed with being right. I would rather question a call/play and be proven wrong because my team came back and won the game. You, on the other hand, really don't care if the Packers win. You just want to be able to say, "I told you so!" That's what you're obsessed with.
But now since we're on a 3 game losing streak, you want to take on this "it really doesn't matter that much to me since I have a life and none of you do" persona? Really? Sorry, you don't get to do that. Just because you haven't gotten an "I told you so" moment in a month doesn't allow you to all of a sudden pretend you don't give a schit.
I, like other Packer fans on this board, watch the Packers because it's 3 1/2 hours of watching your team play and to have some bragging rights with co-workers, family, and friends. Most of us, if not all, have "lives" outside of the Green Bay Packers. The difference is we're upset that our team isn't winning. YOU'RE upset because YOU aren't winning.
BTW, you're right about Newhouse. He sucks. Have a good day.
Packers couldn't beat a lousy Bears team at home. They got destroyed by a mediocre Eagles team at home. Lost to a bad Giants team on the road. The worst game was the inability to beat arguably the worst team in the league at home.
Poor defensive play in all four games will be totally exposed against a Lions team that can be explosive. No Rodgers = no win.
Lions 37 Packers 13
I thought you were flushed with the rest of the failed DNA samples.
I don't see why so many think DET is going to score 35 pts or more. They are an extremely dysfunctional team thanks to their coach. I see about 24-30 pts for them.
I think Flynn gives us as good a chance to win as we've had in weeks...but this defense is such a liability right now that I struggle to see how they deal with Reggie Bush...not to mention Megatron. The x-factor here is Jim Schwartz. He just may be our saving grace, but I'm skeptical this time.
27-21 Detroit...hope like hell I'm wrong.
If Rodgers plays...I like our chances.
We knew 22 days ago that Rodgers was not going to rush back to face the thugs on the Lions DL. Martin ruined McMahon. I have as little respect for Suh as I have for Martin (God rest his soul). I don't expect Rodgers back for any part of this game, but good to see that he practiced this week.
So last week, Mike Glennon completes 14 passes for 250 yards. TB rushes for like 40 yards. TB beats DET, thanks to 4 INT from Stafford and another fumble (TB had no TO's). The keys to the game for me are:
1) No TO's by GB
2) Some TO's (plural) by DET
3) Historical red zone efficiency by GB
They need these 3 to win in my opinion. 28-27 win for GB.
Rusty.
If anybody ever talked to me that way.....we'd have words.
28 - 26 Win with Flynn

Agreed. People need to go back and watch the 2nd half of the Pitt game and last weeks game vs. the Bucs. Their offense isn't has scary as it seems.
8 TD passes by Flynn, beats 6 TD rushes by Bush. Pack wins, 59-41.
