It's the Texas Rangers visiting the Oakland A's, in the last ever MLB game in the Oakland Coliseum. Until their new stadium, in Las Vegas, is ready for use, in 2027, the Oakland A's home games will be played at their Triple A facility, in Sacramento. End of an era, folks. It's 3-2 Oakland, in the bottom of the 8th. Over 49,000 fans are in attendance. The game was delayed, for a few minutes as someone threw a smoke bomb onto the field. Then, yet another delay as a patron threw a can of beer onto the field. A's win it, 3-2. 9-26-2024.
